I switched on my laptop to send one email, that was 2 hours ago. I have since reorganized my entire desktop, watched a video on how submarines are built, applied for a job i dont want, made tea i forogot to drink and started writing reddit post.

My brain is all over the place - i need to travel for my next tetr college sem, and somehow my brain is fine adjustikg to that. Give me a live project, a deadline, and a new city and i'll hyperfocus for 6 hours straight.

And boii just give me one boring page to read and my brain goes through 5 diversions until i wring it back.

Tell me im not the only one who cwn lock in on the fun chaotic thing for hours but cannon do one normal task without getting distracted.

Guitar, gym, journaling, spanish learning, even walking 10k steps - I have a graveyard of abandoned hobbies and a self-image to match. Always assumed i’m born with 0 perseverance and just not meant for a routine or hobbies however chess clicked differently. Played a game and a few puzzles everyday, even on the bad days.

This morning - a 50 popped up on airlearn chess 😭, and I sat there feeling something ive never felt. The rating ain’t great but the streak is the real trophy hehehe.

The streak nag is the whole reason it stuck, airlesrn guilt-trips me and that's the only thing that makes 'one more day' non-negotiable

Down to two options. A watch or am engraved bracelet. Both are wirhin budget. I keep going back and forth. What do i do? Has has so many watches and idk he will like the bracelet or not.
