Life with a schizophrenic parent and guilt

I’m 19, and as the title suggests, I’ve been living with a parent with schizophrenia—my dad.
He was diagnosed when I was 15, completely unexpectedly. It’s been four years, but I still haven’t truly adapted. There are random highs and lows—sometimes it feels like my family is finally normal again, and two days later everything falls apart emotionally.
My mom is a SAHM and my dad is the breadwinner, so his illness also put us through some difficult financial times. Somehow, we got through it. But when I look back at those four years, I don’t have many memories beyond watching my dad lose himself and my mom break down.
Lately, I’ve realized I’ve become almost numb to it. Every day I come home mentally preparing myself for whatever emotional breakdown I’ll have to comfort my mom through. I understand her pain and the enormous stress she’s been carrying for years, but I’m exhausted. I’m tired of listening to the same pain, their past marital problems, and the constant negativity. I feel guilty even saying that because I know she’s struggling too.
For four years, I never really expressed how I felt. My own stress never seemed important enough compared to everything my parents were going through.
What made it worse was that, when things were at their lowest, some relatives blamed me for my dad’s illness because my mom and I had moved back to our home country for my education. I was 15. They repeatedly cornered me and told me it was my fault. For a long time, I genuinely believed them and felt like I had ruined my own life and my family’s.
It took me about a year to understand that none of this was my fault. Yet sometimes that doubt still comes back: What if they were right?
I know dwelling on it only feeds self-blame, but it’s difficult to completely silence that thought.
My dad’s mental health has declined rapidly again over the past month, and honestly, I don’t even know what I’m feeling anymore.
I’ve never talked about any of this with anyone—not friends, not online, not even anonymously. I think I just reached a point where I needed to finally say it somewhere.
When will this ever end.

Tired of trying to loose weight my entire life

Hey I’m 19 and I’ve always been in this constant journey of trying to loose weight since I was like 16. I gained around 10-20 kgs thanks to binge watching and complex family issues and loss that led me into eating away just to feel something back when I was 16.
This year I decided to take it seriously and it’s been the longest that I have actually been consistent and loose weight. I’ve lost around 7-8 kgs in a span of 3 months solely through dieting and walking occasionally but I’ve not really noticed much of a physically difference except the scale and some minor differences. But now I feel like I’m in a ditch, sometimes I just think about giving up and eating away, letting go of myself and it gets so hard to not fall into it again. It’s been really tough this past few weeks to continue this. Does anyone have any advice on how I can actually finish this damn weightloss journey and end this phase of my life without falling back again and again?

19F dating 20F with really bad intimacy, what should I do?

So I’ve been dating this guy for almost a year now, everything about him really amazing except the sexual part. I’ve always been a fairly sexual person but ever since dating him I’ve gotten really sexually frustrated. For starters he’s a really bad kisser, I keep on telling him not to use his teeth but he won’t listen. Well we “tried” having sex sex but he was js so bad it it he couldn’t even penetrate. He’s way too sensitive and refuses to do anything. I’ve talked about it but he just gets sad and I feel bad about it then cuz I really do love this guy. I mean I’m at point where I told him I don’t want to be intimate for a certain amount of time cuz it was js pretty shit experience for me. I don’t want to end things with him just cuz of this reason tho but I also think about the long run cuz we’re both fairly serious about each other.
Even vibs don’t relieve me anymore 🙏 I don’t really know what to do atp, I don’t want to just listen to my body and do something that would really emotionally distress me.
Also he seems to think I “orgasm” Everytime but it’s just wetness 😭

19F and I feel like I have accomplished nothing and idk how to even accomplish anything

I’m an only child to my parents who had me kind of late, so as a result I’ve grown up mostly alone and under a lot of pressure to do well and have a good image with my other family (Indian family things)
I’ve been really good in academics growing up but in my 10th boards it all went to shit (context I had shifted back to India after living my entire life in another country that year) since 10th my academic life has gone to shit, I’ve went from 90-95% to 60-70%. Coming back to the topic, I’m currently a second year aiml student, my college life is pretty boring but this year I really want to prove myself mainly because of my cousin and her inferiority complex, but I feel like I have accomplished nothing yet and I don’t even know how to even prove myself? What do I even do to feel accomplished in life? All my life I’ve feigned ignorance towards what other would say but I think there’s a point where you just can’t act ignorant towards it. I really don’t know what to do anymore, I’m always unhappy with myself .

looking for a team or anyone interested in hackathon

Hey everyone!

I'm a 2nd-year BSc Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning student from Mumbai (IST), and I'm planning to participate in my first virtual hackathon. I'm looking for teammates (1–2 people who i can register in a hackathon with ) or any advice from those who've done hackathons before.

My current tech stack:

  • Python
  • LangChain & LangGraph
  • RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
  • LLM applications (Gemini, Mistral, OpenAI-compatible APIs)
  • Streamlit
  • Flask
  • Git & GitHub
  • ChromaDB / Vector Databases
  • Prompt Engineering
  • Basic HTML/CSS/JavaScript

I've built projects involving multi-agent AI systems, document Q&A, AI research workflows, and other LLM-powered applications, and I'm comfortable working on the AI/backend side. I'm also open to learning new technologies during the hackathon.

If you're looking for a teammate—or if you have any tips for someone doing their first hackathon—I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!

getting sl*t shamed by my own mother

I’m 19 F and I’m so tired of my moms and Nani’s behaviour towards me. For context my family is the typical Indian Muslim extreme type conservative.
I’m not a hijabi, and atp I’ve been loosing any leftover sense of faith in the religion I was born into too.
Today I came over at my Nani’s place and my mother would not let me be at all. Forcing me to wear a dupatta/cover up in my Nani’s home where I grew up in. Her way of forcing me is literally by sl\*t shaming me, vulgar talks/words about my body parts, questioning my character.
Ps I’ve always dressed modest and oversized and it took me a lot of work to go outside without an abaya.
Covering up is suffocating, no matter how many people especially Muslims here argue “hijab is not forced” blah blah yeah maybe it’s not forced for you, you don’t get sl\*\*t shamed into wearing one and following ur deen but a lot of people like me do.
I remember going out of my apartment and just sitting in the lobby without wearing some dupatta and feeling so liberated.
