I will be running Valencia for the first time later this year.

I will be flying in from the East Coast of the USA.

For those who ran it last year or the year before, can you please suggest an accomodation near the start and finish? It does not have to necessarily be a 4 star hotel but not a flea bag place, either.

Also, is it best to fly directly into Madrid and then take the train to Valencia?

Is there anything worth seeing after the race near Valencia, or is it better to go back to Madrid and spend a day there (I have been to Madrid once before years ago).

I know it is supposed to be weight neutral, but I feel that I have gained weight. Anyone else feel the same?

I was laid off from a major bank after just under a year in the position. I was told it was due to "restructuring", but I am not sure that was the case.

I did receive a generous severance package, so I think it is safe to say that I was not fired for cause.

The bank did announce layoffs, but that was months before I was let go. I did my work as best I could every day. However, I suspect that one senior team member did not like me at all, for whatever reason. I also felt that I was the outsider of my immediate team because I was new, older than the other team members, and was not married or had kids. Or, maybe I was being paranoid.

It just sucks that I did not have to take the job since my previous employer offered to keep in another role. I left for measley raise, and I did not realize until I started that the benefits were worse at the new place.

Anyway, I did find work pretty quickly, but the whole experience still places a bitter taste in my mouth.

Do employers fire people they simply don't like and use euphemisms like "restructuring", or should I take that reason at face value?

RFK Jr is nutty and has no business being a cabinet officer. But, I still think it was an unnecessary betrayal on Caroline's part to publicly denounce him the way she did. Did Caroline think herself so important that Congess would be influenced by her and not confirm RFK Jr's nomination?

Whatever one thinks of Hillary, she is much more intelligent and vastly more qualified for the US Senate than JFK Jr ever was. Why would NY elect JFK Jr over Hillary?

Governor in 2002? His cousin in law, Andrew Cuomo, was running for that job before he dropped out.

Even if dim witted Jr was able to get elected to either the Senate or the governorship, how do we know he would have been President? It would have been way too early for him to run in 2004. And, in 2008, that would have pitted him against Obama and Hillary (assuming she won the senate in 2000 and Jr the governorship in 2002).

Again, whatever one thinks of Obama, he was extremely charismatic and probably much more intelligent than Jr. Further, the American people were clamoring for a black, or half black President by that point. Would the son of the President who supposedly advocated for civil rights really deny the American public the chance to elect someone other than a white President?

Of course, I am sure JFK Jr could have easily won a House seat, but that would have too small for him. Maybe he could have been NYC mayor. But, I don't think he would have been elected to anything. We'll never know, I guess.

Gimme a break..they bothe CRAVED the attention. They could have moved anywhere on the planet with his resources and led quiet lives. But, that is exactly what they did NOT want.

Hi, I'm on 40mg of Fluexotine. Although it's helped somewhat with my obsessive rumination, I've been very tired and have had some sexual side effects.

I've recently added 150mg of Bupropion, and it seems to have helped somewhat with the lethargy.

I'm thinking of asking my doc to lower the Fluexotine to 30mg and then 20mg while keeping the current Bupropion.

Anyone here feels that about 20mg of Fluexotine plus some Wellbutrin is the sweet spot?

I have had some headaches since Wellbutrin, but they have been managed with OTC painkillers.

What have people's experiences been with this combo?

Or, would they think they were flying steady the whole time due to John's spatial disorientation?

Also, how had John ever flown at night from NY/NJ to Hyannis before his fatal crash?
