My ranking of every season of the show

My ranking of every season of the show

I’d like to start this out by saying that I don’t think that the main series had any episode that was so horrible that it retroactively ruined the entire series. The walking dead is still a very beloved series with more people watching and experiencing it. Unlike game of thrones or stranger things where it got so bad that people refused to rewatch it, you can go back to the great seasons of the walking dead and not be incredibly disappointed where it ended up.

11-season 10- Definitely my least favorite season. After killing Carl, they had a chance to redeem themselves with Henry and they killed him off too. The whispers weren’t scary this go around. It was incredibly bloated. The lack of film grain made it lose personality. Negan was the only good part and I really liked the alpha twist.

10-season 11- I much prefer having to see people fight for survival, rather than seeing them live in a civilized society. I found this season just mostly forgettable. I was still mad about the lack of film grain.

9-season 7- Really just a bland season although I liked seeing the Negan and Carl stuff.

8-season 1- I know people will be mad at me for having it this low, but it truly was just an introduction, the characters weren’t really established yet.

7-season 8- The first part of the season was boring but I really enjoyed the second part with the return of murder jacket Rick. Carl’s death was a dumb decision but the actors made it really compelling and the ending of Rick sparing Negan was really a beautiful scene from the way it was shot to seeing everyone emotionally exhausted for having to experience the war.

6-season 2- I really liked seeing everyone come to terms with the way that life is going to be now with the apocalypse and seeing that Shane was already ahead of the curve was interesting.

5-season 5- feral Rick was awesome, the hospital arc was fine, but truly it was a season of getting from one place to another.

4-season 3- The governor was a great villain and it was great to see the cahtctwrs finally building a place for themselves

3-season 9- Rick’s exit was beautiful. The season had a very unique vibe that none of the other had, and the whispers were a very threatening and scary villain.

2-season 6- the first half taking place within a day really made the stakes feel high and the saviors were threatening in the second half.

1-season 4- By far my favorite season of the show. I loved the flu arc, they really made Herschel an integral part to the season and gave him a beautiful arc where he helped the prison and died with a smile on his face since he was proud of the man Rick became. Neither side truly won in the war with Woodbury both settlements desteroyed. Seeing Rick bite out the claimed throat was an awesome scene and it truly proved that terminus were fucking with the wrong people.

Theory: Zoolander and severance take place in the same universe

I’d like to start of by mentioning that Ben stiller was the writer to both severance and Zoolander and he mentioned that the failure of Zoolander 2 was the reason he wanted to get into television. The plot of Zoolander is the main character is the main character gets brainwashed in order to assassinate the prime minister of Malaysia. When a specific song plays, something activates in his head that makes him want to carry out the deed. In severance, the chips implanted in the workers head are what cause the split in memories and they are activated by the turning of a switch. Now the time period of either property is never specified but I’m guessing that severance is taking place 20 years after Zoolander. 20 years is a lot of time to develop and prefect a piece of technology, to use a real world example think about ai. Just three years ago ai was barely able to generate one image, now it is almost indistinguishable from real life. I think that Zoolander had early severance technology used on him whereas the show has the current version. Also just a side note, Dr. Rickey lazlo hale felt like a character straight from Zoolander.

Watching the walking dead as a kid vs as an adult

So I watched the series as a kid and as an adult and with age I do think differently about certain things. I started watching at 13 because I heard about the Negan lineup cliffhanger. As an adult it’s still my favorite moment. As a kid I hated season 2, admittedly I was a dumb child since I had issues telling the difference between dale and Hershel. I also thought the season was boring. Now I realize the difference between them and I enjoyed the season. Troy was my bi awakening. Growing up I never met anyone else who had a half sibling and growing up on Long Island I was always given shit for having a half sister. As a kid i thought it was incredibly progressive for carl to have half siblings but now that i moved I realize that it’s just a common thing in life

Negan was the most moral villain the show had

Not my artwork. I’m not trying to make him out to be the secret hero of the show, but do think that he’s the most moral villain the show had. Rick attacked Negan unprovoked, Rick didn’t meet Negan prior to attacking the satellite station. In a way Negan was defending himself. When given the option to Negan could’ve wiped out Rick’s entire group but instead just chose to kill two people. He refused to kill kids nor target civilians. Negan didn’t target the medics in Alexandria. Even though Negan had control of Alexandria’s food and aid supply, he never intentionally caused a starvation in the strip. One thing about Negan that’s truly reprehensible though is his torture of prisoners , that part is unjustifiable

Proof the show is taking place over 2 dimensions

I am currently on my 27th watch through of the series and I’ve been picking up more and more subtle details the more times I watch. The lovecraftian creature Yog-Sothoth is a god that has the ability to mirage different dimensions. The beginning of the walking dead is likely a merge between our normal universe and a universe where it is needed for the beings there to reincarnate after death, which led to the events of dead turning into walkers. Now in lovecraftian lore, the creatures are infinitely more powerful than puny humans. When the two dimensions merged, it subdued the energy of this mysterious undead realm which allows for humans to be able to kill walkers. Even though the energy of this universe is subdued, walkers greatly outnumber humans and pose a daunting threat to them. The walker to human ratio is 5,000 to 1. Humans are still lower on the totem pole but not as significantly lower as compared to an actual god. My biggest piece of evidence has to be the whisperers. In all of lovecraftian lore there is typically a cult following these ancient gods. Now in the walking dead we have the whispers who do the walkers bidding and live among them.

My beardy isn’t eating! What do I do?

Please help me with this. I’ve had him for at least 2 years now, I’ve been feeding him mostly lettuce and blueberries. I’m worried that he’s getting too bing for his cage but this is the only one I have.

Going to my first show

I’ve not been to many concerts before. I’ve seen rammstien twice, I’ve been in the mosh pit for Bernie sanders, and I’ve been to a lot of local shows. I’ve never been to a rap concert before so I’m really looking forward to it

How to make butter chicken more orange?

So I made butter chicken. I was pretty drunk when I made it so I kept switching the recipe I was using while i was cooking. I dont know if i used enough seasonings, i just eyeballed it instead of using the exact measurments, but i was really happy with how it turned out in the end although it couldve been better

Negan shouldn’t have made it through season 11

I haven’t seen dead city yet and I do plan on watching it so I might totally take back what I say here. I felt Negans arc was coming full circle by him taking care of Judith and apologizing for Maggie for what he put her through.

I was told my pasta “looked like cromagnon food” What did I do wrong?!

I don’t understand what part did I mess up on? I followed all of Kay’s instructions. Does this really look that bad?

Mitch McConnell is brain dead

Idk is this is allowed, while the man is not technically deceased, today it’s been revealed that following his heart attack he’s been left completely brain dead in a vegetative state.

Quick question about the album

I remember seeing somewhere that this album will contain topics about real world issues, I can’t find where I saw that anymore. Did anyone else hear this or does my memory deceive me?

Good or bad sign

This morning at 4:44 a song that represented the opposite of my manifestation came on randomly. 444 has always represented positive things with this manifestation. Do you think this is a good or bad sign?
