I’m going to SMA in a few weeks to attend a Spanish school. I’m in my mid 50s and going to retire in 4 years so I’d like to check out retirement options.
I speak Spanish very well - if that matters. What are a few places to go to get a sense of what retirees do there. I like yoga, I’ve been in recovery for 24 years and attend meetings for that , and I like to exercise. I basically want to get a sense of what my life would be like in. SMA. I know 10 days or so will only give me a glimpse but I’d like to find out as much as I can. Thanks

How do you stay motivated when learning Dutch ? I live in NY so learning Spanish was easy motivation wise. I’m at A2 in Italian and stay motivated bec I plan on going there next year - English proficiency outside of tourist areas is low —- thanks

I only have time for a one week immersion program. I’m speaking at B2/C1 and know that one week isn’t going to have a huge impact on my ability but it’s something I want to do. Has anyone done Walk Spanish? I’m in my early 50s - and it seems like most people that take Walk Spanish are much younger. I don’t want to be the one old guy. I’m not into any luxury type program either. Thanks

I lived in SD 25 years ago and return every 2 or 3 years but generally stay in the city or along the coast. We are looking at staying in Escondido during the last week of Aug. I’m from NY so I have little experience w wildfires but wanted to know if it’s unwise to go to Escondido for a week in August due to wildfire risk. - thanks

What’s a simple response- dinner party type response to explain how he’s used the presidency to make $? I know about the plane but how has he used crypto and pardons and his sons’ drones investments to personally profit? I’m looking for a simple response to “ but he doesn’t take any salary”.
