Review of the WLmouse Beast X Pro

This is the Beast X Pro from WLmouse it is around 39g so it is ultralight but it does feel amazing when playing fps games.

Performance is where it shines the most equipped with the PAW3950 the sensor tracks flawlessly, click latency is extremely low, and the included 8k polling support gives it the competitive edge.

The shape is another highlight. It works particularly well for claw grip and fingertip users, with a low hump and slightly flared sides that give good control without feeling bulky. Medium-sized hands are probably the sweet spot, though different Beast X variants cover larger and smaller hand sizes too.

Battery life is also only average if you run high polling rates. At 8K polling, you’ll likely be charging frequently, although dropping to 2K or 1K significantly improves endurance.

Overall, the Beast X Pro feels like the best mouse for competitive FPS players who prioritize weight, responsiveness, and premium materials above everything else. It delivers one of the best raw gaming experiences in the ultralight category, but you’re paying lots of money for a product that still has a few durability concerns. If you mainly play competitive shooters and want a mouse that feels incredibly fast and refined, it absolutely lives up to the hype. If you value long-term reliability and hassle-free ownership more, brands like Logitech or Razer may still feel safer.

My 3 Favourite Mice

Razer Viper v3 Pro

Lamzu Maya 4k

ATK Blazing Sky Zero

All 3 of these mice are high quality and amazing

Just got my new ATK Blazing Sky Zero this is what I think so far.

The ATK Blazing Sky ZERO honestly surprised me. For the price, it feels way more premium than I expected and competes with mice that cost significantly more.

The first thing you notice is the weight. At around 39g, it feels incredibly light without feeling hollow or cheap. The shell is solid, the coating feels smooth and grippy, and the overall build quality is impressive for an ultralight mouse. The shape is clearly designed with claw grip users in mind, especially if you like a more locked-in feel with good palm support.

Performance-wise, it’s top tier. The PAW3950 Ultra sensor tracks flawlessly, clicks feel responsive, and the 8K polling support makes the mouse feel extremely snappy in fast-paced FPS games. Battery life is also surprisingly good considering the specs.

The only downsides are that the clicks may feel slightly mushy depending on your preference, and the translucent versions seem to have a bit more QC inconsistency based on community feedback. Also, fingerprints show pretty easily on the black coating.

Still, for the price, the ATK Blazing Sky ZERO is one of the best value ultralight gaming mice available right now. If you’re into lightweight competitive mice and prefer claw or relaxed claw grip styles, this is an easy recommendation.

My Review on the Lamzu Maya 4k

The LAMZU Maya 4K is one of those mice that quietly became a favorite in the competitive FPS scene because it nails the fundamentals without trying too hard to reinvent the wheel. At around 45–47g, it feels incredibly light in hand, but unlike a lot of ultralight mice, it still manages to feel solid and well-built. The shell has almost no flex, the clicks are crisp, and the overall quality feels premium the moment you pick it up. Reviewers consistently praise its rigidity and excellent button implementation despite the lightweight design.

Shape is where the Maya really stands out. It has a safe symmetrical design with a centered hump and flatter sides, making it comfortable for claw grip, fingertip grip, and even smaller-handed palm grip users. A lot of people describe it as a “GPX Mini” style shape because it feels familiar but slightly more refined and agile. Community feedback around the shape is overwhelmingly positive, especially for FPS titles like Valorant, CS2, and Apex Legends.

Performance-wise, the Maya 4K is excellent. It uses the PixArt 3395 sensor alongside a Nordic MCU, giving it extremely responsive tracking and impressively low click latency. The 4K polling support makes aiming feel exceptionally smooth if your PC can take advantage of it, and the optional 8K dongle pushes it even further. RTINGS and TechPowerUp both highlighted its outstanding raw gaming performance and near top-tier latency results.

The clicks use Huano Blue Shell Pink Dot switches, which feel tactile and snappy without being overly stiff. The side buttons are also surprisingly good — clean, responsive, and easy to reach. The stock skates glide smoothly straight out of the box, and LAMZU includes extras like replacement skates, grip tape, and a carrying pouch, which makes the package feel complete.

Battery life is decent, though higher polling rates drain it noticeably faster. At 4K polling, expect to charge it every few days with heavy use, while 1K polling stretches battery life much further. Some users have also mentioned that the software’s battery percentage reporting can be inconsistent.

The biggest criticism of the Maya 4K is that it plays things safe. If you prefer aggressively contoured shapes or ergonomic mice, it may feel a little plain. The open-bottom design can also collect dust more easily than fully enclosed mice. Still, those are relatively small trade-offs considering how polished the overall experience is.

Overall, the Lamzu Maya 4K is one of the best lightweight wireless FPS mice available right now. It combines a near-universal shape, top-tier performance, excellent clicks, and premium build quality into a mouse that feels designed purely for competitive gaming. If your priority is aim-focused performance without unnecessary gimmicks, the Maya 4K absolutely delivers.
