HP vs. Lenovo for CS/Cybersecurity – Screen Size vs. Upgradeable RAM

I am an upcoming second-year Computer Science and Cybersecurity student living in a college hostel. I need a portable machine for running multiple VMs, coding, and reading manga, watching animes,tv shows. I've narrowed it down to two options that fit my taste but have very different trade-offs.

HP Laptop

Specs: 16-inch Touchscreen | 24GB RAM | 1TB SSD

Pros: The larger screen is great for split-screen coding, and the touchscreen is perfect for swiping through comics and manga.

Cons: The RAM is soldered. While 24GB is great now, I cannot upgrade it later if my advanced cybersecurity labs require running heavier virtual machines.

Lenovo Laptop

Specs: 14-inch OLED | 24GB RAM | 1TB SSD

Pros: The RAM is fully upgradeable via slots, making it future-proof for my degree. It also has a highly durable chassis and is very lightweight for carrying across campus.

Cons: The smaller 14-inch display provides less room for multitasking, and it lacks a touchscreen.

Which trade-off makes more sense: sacrificing the touchscreen and larger display, or giving up future RAM upgradability?

This is a tale my mom told me; guess what it is trying to tell.

One day, Chitragupta had a dilemma, which he presented to Yamaraja. A king was giving out free food, but one day, the venom of a snake being carried by an eagle fell into one of the dishes. This caused the death of a few people.

Now, Chitragupta was wondering who he should write the karma of these deaths on: the king who was giving the free food, or the snake and the eagle because of their nature. Yamaraja smiled and told him to wait.

A few days later, some travelers were entering the kingdom. While entering, they asked an old lady where to get the free food. She told them the place, but also warned them by saying the king was mixing poison into the food. Seeing this, Yamaraja told Chitragupta to write the karma of those dead people on this old lady.

I think I am going to quit instagram

First,it was nice some memes, comedy, music ,etc.

Then I saw multiple reels asking for help some for food for animals, some for humans, some for surgery, some for followers. And I for some reason couldn't ignore these. I liked those reels and copied link.but, the more I do ,the more some kind of reel is coming to my feed. All these sufferings make me sad 😭. My heart feels heavy

It hurts

When those "friends" from your school, get together, play sports, but you only know it when you see their ig story. When though it isn't the first time, my silly heart aches.

Guess, maybe It is my fault .I am not good at sports.

The more I try to understand the Mahabharata, the more confused I get.

The Mahabharata I formed in my mind when I was younger was made up of TV shows, short books, speeches of some motivational speakers, my grandmother, some YouTube videos, and some more. I had carefully picked and made my version of the Mahabharata, which I was happy with.

But now, I see a lot of other versions and a lot of hidden incidents. Like the story of Radha, the disrobing (Vastraharan), etc., may be faked, or misleading stories like Ekalavya's unfair treatment. For the past few months, my mind has heavily clashed between facts and my own original Mahabharata.

But now I have come to a state like, fck it.

Even if Krishna Dwaipayana (Ved Vyasa) told me his original version, I will still hold mine over his. That doesn't mean I will not change it. I will change it, it may take time, but it will be mine.

Also, I would say that a lot of people really don't like when someone expresses their own opinions. But that doesn't stop me. Even if I get -100 downvotes or banned, I will be happy that I made my statement.

I am sorry if someone got offended
