it took me a while and i think it is one of my better drawings, im curious to see what other people think

i have been working on these little micro tribes (is that what i should call them?) on the side for about 3 years now, since i am finally happy with the skywing micro tribe and the seawing micro tribe, i thought i would share them!

please note that what i mean by “micro tribe“ is a smaller, more isolated part of a pre existing tribe, they can take on different physical attributes and move into different climates and areas, each micro tribe has anywhere between 500-1,000 dragons.

skywing micro tribe- the skywing micro tribe is displayed in the first image on the post, over some time, this micro tribe split off from the main portion of the tribe, heading further north, which led to them being named a micro tribe. It also led to them developing a thick fur on their bodies and a whispy tail like a leafwing’s, but fluffier. They have muted reds and pinks for their color pallets, occasionall, they may have subtle blue and yellow undertones.

seawing micro tribe-displayed in the second image on the post, similar to the skywing micro tribe, these guys split off from the main tribe over many years. They prefer to live in the rainforest and also like to build homes in lakes. The change in habitat led to their bioluminescent scales slowly fading away. It is unknown why their color palette mainly consists of reds, oranges, yellows, whites, and greys, perhaps when i do a follow up post for the other tribes i will have it figured out.

he is an online friend so i cant do much, especially since he lives in europe and im in the usa…

made this little guy out of pure boredom! its a rainwing with no tail, he is sooooo cute! And he also goes invisible when you turn on the little green LED light on the inside! (showcased with surrounding light off) i thought he was really cool and wanted to share him! im thinking of naming him marble🤔

Comet’s ref sheet AND final design!

his name will be comet, he is a nightwing/sandwing with natural patterns and lighter colors, i feel like i am overdoing his design though so i need opinions.

do you guys think im overdoing his design or is it fine?

since in the older posts about Deathwings i didn't give ANY lore, i‘ve decided to write some.

Deathwings don't follow a queen system, instead they are split up into four smaller groups each ruled by a king. Deathwings can be found wearing skulls of other dragons, animals, and sometimes other Deathwings, you might notice that the teeth on the skulls that they wear overlay their bottom jaw, sometimes they will rip out these teeth to avoid damaging their scales on their bottom jaw.

Deathwings usually have tan, brown, or grey scales, yellow, green, or brown eyes, and silver, black, or white horns.
