SOMEONE CAME AND HELPED. THANK YOU SPRINGFIELD!

I am a woman with my dog at the McDonalds at Republic and Campbell and I hit the curb pulling into the parking lot and I have everything ready to change the tire (nuts all loosened and spare sitting right here ready for me to put on.) I just can't get it jacked up. I think I'm missing a piece of the original bottle jack and the floor jack I have won't go high enough.

It's a 2000 4runner. Once I change the tire I can door dash tonight (I was coming here to pick up an order) and Venmo you $20 by tomorrow afternoon?

I'm sorry to ask I just don't know anyone here and we just stopped in Springfield so I could make some money delivering before we moved on.

Pretty simple and of course with an issue but I completely solved the problem of dealing with any level of humidity and heat.

ICE. I found a store that has free ice refills and each night I get 2 xxl cups and put each into a 2 gallon Ziploc bag and my dog gets one and I get the other. Wrapped in towels my dog puts his head on his and I put mine against my back or put my bare feet on it.

Then I have an oscillating USB fan going.

We sleep through the night.

I think an ice pack, like for injuries, would be great to just have against the back of the neck. Or placed behind the knees maybe but definitely putting bare feet on something icy will chill the body.

Of course the issue is wetness. For me I've decided to just keep the ice in the cup and have it against my back or wherever and my dog has a baby bed so it is moisture proof and it does get wet.

I guess there is no solution to the moisture issue right because if we are getting relief from the ice that means there is going to be 'sweating' and moisture?

Not enough of an issue for me to not do it because it is just so empowering being able to get to sleep no matter how humid it is. I can even use a blanket!

I'm going to insulate my cooler more so I can store some ice and do a refill in the night.

Pretty sure they were Lone Star ticks because I found 3 walking on my dog. They didn't attach to him I guess because of Advantix but last year when we were camping I had this same hive like rash in the same place but had no idea why but my dog's head and face was covered in dime sized welts on tops of welts but a night of Benadryl got rid of it. I didn't see any ticks so it remained a mystery until now. Obviously we had been bit by ticks.

So I looked up Lyme and STARI and the rash isn't a bullseye at all. Just splotchy areas of red bumps. A cold sore also has arisen that truly makes me look diseased, I mean it is on my skin extending about 3/4" from my lip so I am clearly having an immune response.

I haven't noticed any symptoms to dairy or meat either.

Can I just have allergic responses to the actual tick bite but nothing beyond that? Or maybe it is literally an immune response fighting off whatever the LS tick is trying to give me? And what the heck happened to my dog? It seems likely that having Advantix this time might have spared him another terrible reaction.

There were 3 lone stars walking on my dog so I guess the Advantix prevented them from biting but I had two ticks under my shirt and had to pull both off, didn't verify but I assume they were lone stars. Both itched badly and then rashes across my skin from under breast to waist.

Last year my dog and I were camping and the exact same rash situation happened on my stomach but it was a mystery (until now obviously) and my dog's head and face was like dime sized bumps on top of bumps (Benadryl fixed the overnight). I had no idea what had happened to us.

Can dogs have an allergy to tick bites and if so I guess the Advantix is really working because my dog is fine this time around.

I haven't eaten hardly any red meat and can't say how much dairy and some sausage on pizza but looking back over the last year there would be times my ankles would start itching and I mean to where I would scratch the bumps into sores it was such a bad itch. I just chalked it up to my dog and I always walking in the woods and getting a little poison ivy but a few bouts of heartburn too which is super rare for me, maybe once a year usually.

*******QUESTIONS: Is it possible I got AGS and have fairly minor reactions to food but have more of a reaction from the actual bites?

Can I JUST have an allergic reaction to tick bites that is NOT AGS?

The obvious test is to wait for this rash to go away (a TERRIBLE cold sore came up too which I know is viral so am having quite the immune response to those two little ticks) and then eat some red meat but that will be awhile and wondered if anyone had any thoughts or similar experience?

It shakes badly. I had a $450 front brake job done last year. They messed up something with the caliper so the fluid leaked out but some guy "fixed" it and everything was fine.

The fluid is still full.

A few months ago a mechanic just glanced at the front brakes through the wheel covers and said they looked fine and mentioned my rear brakes will probably need work soon. He didn't drive it and the symptoms I described to him ended up being the lack of engine mounts so I don't know or remember what led him to that conclusion about the rear brakes.

I looked up the symptoms and it said a shaking steering wheel suggests front brakes though.

If my rear brakes have needed work and I kept driving it could that mess up my front brakes?

I SWEAR I did one spark plug wire at a time and compared lengths of old to new but it is misfiring so bad and AI says it is a different order and if someone could provide a link that would be great?

A dog will be laying on top to keep him cool so I am wondering how to layer things. What order of reflectix, plastic bag, insulation material, from his body heat to the ice.

And what about condensation? Thanks for any help.

......since the screen will allow the reflection to happen but it will be limited then? The screen is rubber as well so that is better right? It won't hold onto the heat? Thanks for any help.

I don't want shiny material facing outward, but will if necessary, but does it matter if the reflective mylar is BEHIND some opaque posterboard so the posterboard is closest to the window?

And then the question of keeping cold air in.....is there a method besides sealing? I mean reflection doesn't work for that right?

I know about the 365 day requirement with a locked Verizon/Tracfone but is Visible saying that I can activate with them NOW, or just that the physical phone is compatible? (My phone is a brand new, unactivated Samsung A16)

(I thought since maybe both Tracfone and Visible are Verizon it would be possible that they will let me just activate with Visible instead of Tracfone?)

Is there some risk to trying ya think?
