I am currently living close to Kalmar for work and I have a weekend to visit some friends in Karlskrona at the end of august.

They both work weekends so I would only be there for an afternoon and a night, can be either friday or saturday. The rest of the time I want to explore more of the area/ south sweden basically. I want to do a trip to anywhere that is sensible reachable by public transport.

I have been to Malmö and live close to Kalmar so the bigger cities are out and preferably I stay a bit more away from Kalmar since I have a weekend.

It could either be two smaller trips/destinations for saturday and sunday with Karlskrona as the night base or a start from there further out saturday and sunday.

Can you recommend any nice trips with either towns/cities/attractions or any special nature reserves (anything outdoors) that would be cool to see within the timeframe?

Hey, long story short I moved back home and my mom wanted to know what I was playing every evening.

I have 170 hours, 3/4 sages and three towers left to unlock (Gerudo and adjacent).

Yesterday I showed my mom the basics, summarised some of the story and the different things I could do (everything except combat, so runes, teleport, dephts and sky, items etc.)

She has never been a gamer and used to hate my interest in it but she is making an effort and trying to engage with my hobbies more.

So yesterday she watched me play for a bit (just finished the Lurelin quest line) and I showed here the basic controlls. It was a struggle to even have here look around and move at the same time.

But in the end we got to do the quest to find the horse 'Spot' for the old guy at the LL mini stable and we named it after her.

So now i want to kinda show her a bit more of the game and get her to play a bit more independently.

I dont think its smart to get her to start on a new save because I know she will not care long enough to sit through the whole cutscenes and finish the whole sky islands...

Is there an area that doesnt really level up the monsters so she can survive and have something to explore?

or a way to give her some simple quest to try out some things without needing to understand every mechanic?

my only thought was eventide island but sadly it doenst take your stuff anyomore like in Botw (or maybe its because I already did it..)

I have had a pretty hard time recently. Career choices did not work out, my home life was a mess and I didnt know what to do.

But, even though I had just started to try to find the next step and get back into life, I got a response and a chance right away.

I had contacted them for an internship position last year but I didnt commit. I reached out again and within an hour they offered for me to join as soon as I wanted, basically saving my whole degree program and saving me a whole year of headache.

Now I have the chance to expand my knowledge and field of work, visut several friends in the same country and have a nice summer instead of wallowing in self pity and waiting-for-respones-hell

Hey, I am have been living here for a few months now and the advertisement for Lava Live is everywhere. Did anyone here go in the last years? How was the party/the people/the vibe? is it mostly locals or tourists?

If you are going, do you maybe want to go together?

Also, if anyone wants to sell their ticket I might be interested because it would be dumb to buy a new one if people can't use theirs. 12th or 13th?
