SIG P365X Coyote — Didn’t See This One Coming

My buddy let me try his at the range, and I was surprised by how well it shot. With my big hands, I didn’t think a smaller pistol would work this well for me. I’m normally a full-size pistol guy, but I liked it enough to add this one to the pistol lineup.

Sig P365 Fuse — Coyote

I went back and forth on this one, but I’m glad I grabbed it.

Shoots excellent, feels right in my hand, and the upgrades they added make sense.

I already carry the regular Fuse, so this one wasn’t a hard fit into the lineup.

HK USP Tactical .40 S&W — Old-School Iron

This one is just pure old-school cool. Big HK, big .40, built like a brick and smooth as anything.

Not the smallest. Not the lightest but I still carry this beast, and .40 S&W is absolutely still in my rotation.

Glock 27 Gen 2.5

This Glock 27 was my first, and it still holds its place in the rotation. It may not be the newest pistol in the safe, but it has history, reliability, and a whole lot of trust behind it.

For me, .40 S&W is still very much in the rotation.

Glock Core Model Reference Chart

I put this together for the Glock family. It's a clean, basic quick-reference chart for the core numbered Glock models by caliber and size.

Kept it simple on purpose — no MOS, Gen-specific, agency, training, compensated, restricted, or regional variants so it was easy to see without clutter.

Practical reference, not a full SKU catalog.

Small upgrade, better grip on the P365X

I have a few other SIGs, but I really like this P365X as well. Added an updated baseplate and it’s a small change that gives the grip a better feel in the hand. Fit seems solid, quality feels good, and it adds just enough without making the pistol bulky. Practical little upgrade for a great pistol.

Glock 19 Gen 6 SLR Magwell Upgrade

Added the SLR magwell to the Glock 19 and it cleaned it up nicely. Better hand placement, smoother reloads, and not a lot of extra bulk. For me, this simple upgrade makes the pistol feel more dialed in.

SIG DH3 — High-Performance Carry

The SIG DH3 is a smooth, accurate, and confidence-inspiring shooter. It has excellent balance, soft recoil, and tracks well during follow-up shots. While it is not my smallest carry option, I do carry it because it fills the full-size performance lane perfectly. Solid pistol, great shooter, and it has earned its place.

SIG Sauer P365X: Small Pistol, Big Surprise

I’ll be honest, the SIG Sauer P365X surprised me.

For a smaller pistol, it is extremely well designed. The balance, grip, controls, and overall feel make it much more shootable than I expected. It carries like a compact, but it does not feel like a compromise on the range.

The shootability is impressive. It points naturally, tracks well, and gives you a lot of confidence for its size. SIG really did a solid job blending concealability, capacity, and performance into one clean package.

This one definitely earned its lane. Simple, capable, and very well thought out.

GLOCK 19, Gen 6 with SLR Magwell

Nothing crazy, just a small upgrade. The SLR magwell keeps the mag corners from digging into my ribs, and that makes a big difference.
