Advice for family 4 September

Been to Colorado many times but never to aspen. Looking for advice on where to stay if it’s better to be in downtown or snowmass. Looking for somewhere kind of boushy but still family friendly as I have a lot of $ in credit card points to use so want to go more higher end than normal. Not quite hotel Jerome or little Nell though. Looking for more of a resort/hotel feel rather than a condo.

I have been researching the viceroy in snowmass and limelight in aspen which both seem nice. However, if you stay in snowmass is it a pain to park in aspen? Would it be better to stay in aspen and just visit snowmass or vice versa?

Also what are some recommendations as far as hikes with kids and places to eat/breweries?

Abbott signs bill allowing telework for all state agencies months after his executive order banning it

Even Texas of all places is realizing the benefits of telework again after seeing the results. Hope this catches on more widespread now.

Wheel sales

When you put on your wheel trade do you try to sell your put and your call as soon as you buy the 100 shares or buy the 100 shares then try to optimally sell the put / call based on price movement?

Example you buy 100 of a stock that’s down 3% on the day. the put premiums are nice but the call premiums are down. Would you wait for an intra day bounce to sell the call? Or just do it immediately at the lower premium for the sake of getting the wheel on

Lennox 5 ton EL21 and S40 thermostat wrong humidity reading

I just had these 2 installed yesterday in texas. After a full day of install system kicked on and obviously the temp and humidity were reading high so it ran a lot of to get back to 75. I figured it might take awhile for the humidity to drop as it pulls out of the air when the unit runs. However, today it’s not dropping below 65% and fluctuating between 65-68% on the thermostat.

I have lowered the CFMs. Dehumidify setting is on, climate IQ is on, adjusted dehumidify set point to 40% (Range setting options are 40-60).

Additionally, I have 2 different separate humidity monitors showing readings in the house between 46-52%.

So why would the thermostat be showing humidity readings in the mid to high 60s all day?

Planning to have the installer come back and check it out but just trying to troubleshoot what I can. I was going to turn the “feels like” setting on and/or change from climate IQ to max, but since the separate humidity monitors are showing around 48% it leads me to think it’s a false reading? The house feels good I just don’t want the heat pump operation being thrown off by the thermostat telling it the humidity is at 66%

Worth it to switch from t mobile?

I pay 110 a month right now flat fee with T-Mobile. 2 lines unlimited talk text data. I don’t use hot spot. Haven’t really had issues with T-Mobile other than I get no service at work. Verizon gets service there.

I was looking at the simplifying plan. Looks like 2 lines would be $60 if bring phones.

I’ve always thought of Verizon and atnt as scammy price raisers. But willing to explore it. Whats the best deal I can get comparable to my t mobile price.

Lennox S40 thermostat humidity help

Hi just had a variable speed EL21 system put in with an s40 Thermostat. I am very confused with the humidity settings as it seems like it is set to high I can’t find a way to set it around 40, which is where my house generally we set to before with my old single stage.

The unit was installed yesterday in very hot humid Texas. With the house heating up to 85 and 75 humidity during install, it has finally cooled down to 75 inside after running and seems to be running great. However the humidity level has only dropped to 66% on the thermostat and has been holding there all day. How can I get this down to around 40% ?

On the settings, I have dehumidify on, and the dehumidify set point scroll bar dragged to the lowest level of 50% . The slide bar only goes from 50-60%….climateiq is also turned on.

Nose congestion overnight?

I’ve taken 2 sleep apnea tests a few years apart. One was mild sleep apnea and one was no sleep apnea. Both tests I took I felt like I didn’t sleep and was awake most of the night. As it stands right now I have no cpap but I don’t understand how I don’t have sleep apnea. I snore like crazy and constantly wake up readjust etc. one of the things though I’ve noticed is I go to bed with a clear nose and almost every morning I wake up with a stuffed nose. Does this happen to anyone else? This feels like an obvious reason why I mouth breath and drool too. I just can’t figure out why my nose clogs up so much overnight. I’ve used nasal strips and allergy medication spray. I do not live in a dry climate (Texas). Do you think this is a sleep apnea issue? Is there ANYTHING (other than afrin) I can try to not wake up with a stuffed up nose?

Think we’re going to have to get a new TV. Our 65” TCL bought like 8 years ago isn’t keeping up. Anymore. Don’t want to spend a lot, less than 600. I want a 65” that will fit on our current mount so all I got to do is just plop it on. (Assuming the mounts are universal?) if it’s holding an 8 year old tcl will it hold a new one today?

Any ways what do you recommend? We mainly just watch sports hockey football and nature shows a the occasional series.
