What the fuck is good slam?

Recently promoted a song in this sub and the goat Max the Ripper called it slop. That song was an attempt to not be slop and just chugs, so I wanna know what you look for in slam? What really separates good slam from bad slam? Are there any good slam albums besides Molesting The Decapitated? I genuinely wanna know as it feels like anytime I see a cool band, 75% of the comments are just shitting on it, and Im hella confused. Does good slam even exist at this point?

Do you prefer Metal Goregrind (Carcass, CME) or Punky Goregrind? (LDOH, Sulfuric Cautery )

I feel like the distinction between metallic goregrind and punky goregrind isn't brought up enough. A lot of the early bands were very Death Metal influenced while new bands seem to take a lot more influence from the grind/punk side of things, and I was wondering what you guys prefer. I personally prefer the punky side since the music is generally more extreme and over the top than the Death Metal influenced music.

Instagram needs a support ticket system

I had an Instagram page for my slam band, and was randomly disabled. I tried to appeal, but the appeal didn't fucking work.

The account was shared with another member of the band for a period, and he had other accounts, but later on he was kicked and I changed the password so that only I had access to the page. When my account was disabled, it said that I sas evading a band with another account, which makes no fucking sense because he had been out of the account for a couple months.

If I could explain this to a human, I could probably get my page back, but since Meta doesn't have a ticket system I'm aware of, I'm fucked. If anyone has any solutions I'm not aware of, please let me know as my page has a lot of contacts and friends that I only have on that page.

Message from North Poison

Bit of a different post to this sub but whatever.

Hey guys, it's Gus of North Poison here to let you guys know that the project is over for the foreseeable future. My insta page has been taken down, and this is a massive blow to the social aspect of this band. I'm in the process of appealing but I'm not confident. I really don't see any reason to keep going, especially in combination with the Orbital Gate drama that happened just a couple months ago. I'd rather start fresh with something better.

Big thanks to Organs Exposed, Bleeding Wound, and Haiden.E for being the fucking goats. I'll miss you guys,

Edit: People seem to be confused in the comments. It was not ME who talked shit on Orbital Gate, it was our old vocalist Eddie. Eddie was kicked out after this situation took place.
