How do you feel about curious George? This might be a repeated post but I’m fairly new here.
I think it’s very confusing, to me as an adult, so I wonder how do kids view it.
Why is a monkey living in an apartment, and why does he understand everything and does everything but doesn’t speak a word, and his ooos and aaas are understandable to the other characters.
I banned it in our house because I felt like my LO stopped trying to say words and rather points and just makes sounds.
She’s as narcissistic as it gets, she’s jealous of me for many reasons, she’s insecure about her looks, she needs to be the center of attention, the list goes on..
She’s done so many unspeakable things and I have respectfully tried to set boundaries over the years, only for her to keep inventing trouble out of thin air and turn my husband and MIL against me.
One time she was enraged how I was hospitalized during my pregnancy and she didn’t get to know the details, she told my husband and he absolutely believed her that I don’t consider them as family. It turned into a big fight and I called her to say I didn’t even tell my own mom about what I had been going through, but here’s the deal, I’m a very honest and straightforward person, if anything annoys you can tell me directly and don’t involve my husband.
That made her even more pissed off. And she just stonewalls me any time she feels like I did or said something against her.
Last month something else happened, and she stopped talking to me, I had another argument with my husband and he said, well I know you won’t be friends, but can you sit down with her and just try to understand each other.
I need tips, advice, anything, on how to deal with someone like her. I will do it for my husband, and hope he’ll realize all the drama is because of her tiny ass brain. But how do I talk to her, but not give her more fuel for her drama?
She hates confrontation, and I’m a speak-truth-to-power kind of person.
I mean, I knew it was going to be difficult, but wth!
Everyone was saying kids will feel uncomfortable once they’re wet and they’ll learn quickly that they want to change. Not my young man, he seems to be willing to sit in his pee, and starts to splash it with his feet when he had accidents while standing on hard tiles.
This kid absolutely loves water, doesn’t care what temperature. Out of 8 times I only managed to catch one in the potty and only because it’s number two and I saw him make his poop-face.
It’s absolute chaos
My little one is a bit too excited to flip pages and has already ripped pages or covers off of his books.
What’s the best to fix them?
This is just an example. This is hard cover and paper, I also need a fix for normal paper.
I tried super glue obviously it didn’t work because it hardened and once I flipped the cover the bond snapped
It’s finally warm weather where I live, and I want to potty-train my 2 year old. I think he’s ready, and I’d like to at least give it a try. But I also have an EBF 3 month old, and I usually leave him on the breast as long as he needs, so it can be 15 minutes and it can be “I have no idea when he latched”.
My question is, what’s the best way to manage both? Also given I’m a SAHM and my husband gets home from work when it’s almost bedtime. Any advice is appreciated.
Also which is better, get a potty, or train him directly in the bathroom? Can I do both?
and yes, the latch is correct. My left nipple got cracked because it’s flat and we had issues fixing the latch but now LO is a champion in nursing and is thriving. My nipple isn’t!
I use lanolin, I use Motherlove nipple cream, my boob is barely in my shirt because I want to keep it aerated.
But every time he nursing I feel the wound opening, it hurts like hell, I scream, i twist, i jump, it’s that painful.
What can I do to stop the pain?
