I posted a video of being chased off the lake by a storm, this is what it looked like shortly after. Lake Pleasant,Arizona 🇺🇸 MEMORIAL DAY 2026 🇺🇸 |by Martin Garcia

This happened about 15 minutes after I put my boat on the trailer.

Everybody at the lake had been watching the clouds build in the north all day. Once the clouds started moving in I knew it was time to go. As I pulled the boat out of the water and started to pack up, the breeze started to hit. By the time I got on the road and made our way home, the wind started really cranking. I even said to my wife "the ramp is probably a shit show right now".

I'm happy someone from the Facebook group decided to post this video. Credit given to the poster in the title. Unfortunately there are a few people who are unable to realize when it's time to go.

Looking to have a conversation with an Aussie who regularly tows with a Toyota/Lexus equipped with a V35 twin turbo petrol engine.

I've recently discovered that owners manuals in every other market around the globe suggest using a thicker weight oil if the vehicle is being used to tow or is being driven in a hot climate. Meanwhile vehicles being sold in the U.S. have manuals stating that 0w20 weight oil is the only weight oil that should be used in this engine. I'm curious if any Aussie has made the switch to thicker oil, if there are any noticeable differences, and if you have any information on whether or not it helps prevent failure related to the V35 engine recall.

Anyone here from Australia?

I would like to chat about the differences in specifications stated in our owners manuals. Specifically about oil weight and what type of oil you are using.
