As much as I enjoyed Lanterns, who else thinks the grounded, True Detective style would have fit better as a Constantine show?

I cannot agree more with the sentiment being expressed here.
Seriously, the thought that from here on out we will never actually legally own GTA 6 is insane.
God heard my prayers
Reel Takes Reviews argues that Primetime is morally questionable as a film because it seemingly demonizes Chris Hansen since his work was an overall "net positive."
Personally, I find his position a bit too ... let's just say he reminds me of the meme "that one friend who's just too woke."
He treats the idea of the movie more like propaganda to sway public opinion as opposed to an art-piece meant to get people to question the entertainment they consume and the motives of the people behind it. There is absolutely an interesting story behind Chris Hansen, and as a character study, it seems like it could be really fascinating, even if the movie itself takes some dramatic liberties. Hell, even now, the film before it's out is getting us to have these discussions about it, which is what art is meant to do.
It seems to me that his take itself almost argues for pro propaganda to make Hansen appear more good, which to me seems far less interesting. His idea of people saying the film could be nuanced almost comes off like he equates nuance to centrism which is also strange.
Idk, just curious how y'all feel about it or if you agree or disagree heavily with either his or my view.
Also, please don't let me fuck up.
Twin Peaks: the original show has Julie Cruise perform a near entire song multiple times, and in The Return, almost every episode ends on a musical performance, the most notable being Nine Inch Nails, which instead occurs in the middle of the episode.
Fallen Leaves: Finnish band Maustetytöt performs a song in the middle of the film and is a highlight of the film.
3: I Saw The TV Glow: Phoebe Bridgers shows up.
Sometimes when I'm in a rough place or have to have a particularly difficult discussion or make a decision that gives me anxiety, I like to imagine Superman sitting right by me and telling me that everything is going to be okay and that he'll have my back no matter what happens.
It usually helps to get my mind out of the cyclical rut of negative thinking and look at things a little more calmly. It sounds weird to say it, almost like I'm talking to myself or some sort of imaginary friend, but I find that it helps and I was curious if anyone else did the same.
So, guys, I may have screwed the pooch. To elaborate I got my retainers pre-pandemic, and I wore them consistently everyday. Then the pandemic hit and I really wasn't about to go to the dentist and risk infection, especially since I had older family members at home. I was at 6 months though, which meant I could start wearing them at night only, and so I did.
Fast forward a few years and one day the retainer for my upper teeth began to seriously irritate my inner lip. I don't know what it was, I was keeping them clean and everything, so I decided to stop wearing it for a bit and see what happens while still wearing the one for my lower teeth.
Aaand, that's about where I stopped. From then, till today, I have been using only one retainer on my teeth while neglecting the other. I didn't notice any changes to my teeth so I figured it was cool. It's been like 3 years that way.
Then a few days ago, for the first time, I noticed my upper teeth had slightly adjusted, as my two front teeth seemed to regain the gap in the middle I had over 10 years ago. It's not super noticeable, but it was noticeable enough for me to start getting concerned, so I'm figured I would try both retainers again.
I think it still fits. I mean it fits my mouth, but at the same time I'm worried that it's not fitting all the way and is too low on my jaw (it is a bit tight).
Should I just leave it be? I really can't afford to get braces again. Is Invisalign worth a shot?
Laika studios have been beyond underwhelming in the past despite their phenomenal animation but I actually think this looks pretty inspired.
