Lindsay Clancy, Postpartum & Mental Health Issues.

Lindsay Clancy, Postpartum & Mental Health Issues.

Lindsay Clancy, a former nurse from Duxbury, Massachusetts, is accused of killing her three children on January 24, 2023... And she is now facing an ongoing trial regarding it.

What has happened is soo horrible & heartbreaking, and there is a bigger picture to the story, Lindsay was suffering from severe Postpartum Psychosis & other issues related to her mental health, she was on medication, she wasn't well mentally because of postpartum & everything... So, she reached out to her partner for help, explained that she was having intrusive thoughts & she is not herself at times, she reached out to mental & medical institutions for help, she was literally begging for help, and everyone ignored her cries for help, and weeks later, the unthinkable happened.

There is even a section of people that think Lindsay is a monster for happened, but who do you think is suffering the most ? Who do you think is carrying the weight of the dead ? She was ill, she needed help, and everyone turned a blind eye... The system that she was in failed her, those that ignored her cries for help failed her... Let's not create/make situations that create more tragic stories like Lindsay.

We don't really talk about what women have to endure after giving birth, they don't just suffer physically, they pay a mental toll as well. Some never heal, they have to deal with that for a long term. I can't even begin to fathom what women have to go through & deal with. And there isn't proper treatment for what comes after delivery in many places.

And also, mental health isn't really talked about nor treated right in many parts of our world, including India, infact ours is one of the worst places when it comes to mental health awareness and treatment, most people know nothing, mental health issues are treated as literal jokes or as trivial issues by most people, because they're not aware and aren't taught well. We need to spread awareness, teach empathy to our people & the young. People need to learn what it means to have children, and what women have to endure or go through in this process, even some women aren't aware of what could happen to their bodies & mental health during & after pregnancies.

Let's not give rise to tragedies like Lindsay.

Films That Stay With You

 1. Masaan & 10. Lion (2016)

I still got tonnes in my list, but, these are some of those that truly made me feel something, and these films left me in thoughts for days, good films aren't just for entertainment, they give u something new, they make you question things, they make you uncomfortable, sad, happy and all sorts of things that you never knew that you could feel/understand/find.

So, have you ever seen films or movies that stayed with you for a long time ? And what are those ?

Bonaalu kaadu, headache pro max 🥴

Last two days ninchi okatee music-uuu, early morning music-ey, midnight music-ey, complaint ichina yevaru action tesukoru, asalu bhakti & panduga ane name tho bhakti & panduga thappa anni chesthunaaru, loud music blast chesi neighborhoods ni disturb chesthunaaru, roads block chestharu permission lekunda, yemaina ante panduga antaru, ledhante it is India and it is normal antaaru, and alaage question chesinandhuku nannu Muslim, Anti-Hindu and Anti-National anatam kuda jerigindi 😂🥲. Asalu common sense vundadha chaala people ki ? Disturbance ni kuda bhakti ante ika 🙏

I genuinely think blasting loud music in the public spaces should be considered as an offense in India, and it should be punished either by great deal of fines or lots of community services. And on repeated offenses, jail time should be considered as well.

Today is OP's birthday.

Some templetes can be misleading 😂

Have gotten used to not treating my birthdays as anything special long ago, It used to be a lotta work, when people around me knew that it was my birthday... It finally feels like peace, when only few people know it's your birthday, and only those who are close wishing me, and me appreciating their care and meeting up if possible, and no big things, just three of my close friends & me, enjoying my treat. And later, I've gone out alone, bought myself a beautiful cardigan and chocolate scoops <3, which were super yummy.

But, there is a tiny little hole in my heart, not literally 😂... Just a sad nostalgia for lotta people being around for my birthdays... being showered with attention, but, I know it only lasts a night, it all fades, when the bottles are complete and lights go dim. I don't drink, btw... I just sponsor it. And then it hits after lights go out, they never truly appreciated the way you appreciated their presence in your life, they just wanted drinks 😂.

But, glad I made peace with things, distanced myself from unhealthy elements, and I enjoy this normalcy very much, no big things, just me doing what I like on my 25th birthday.

And also btw, today is also the death anniversary of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. RIP 💐

Samdish & his team have shot 50mins of footage from 20th July's events.

It is so saddening to see our pillars of democracy and secularism collapse everyday, civil rights don't mean anything, no one takes accountability, the elected govt acts like slave masters instead of being the public employees/servants they were supposed to be, they treat the young like insects, like their lives don't matter, they don't even care about everyday Indians other than the wealthiest.

India's present & future depends on this, we need to stand together and spread love and kindness, no matter how hard they try to keep us divided, obedient & powerless. Choose love, kindness & truth, everyone.

My Roommate got scammed

Maa roommate (29M), he's a corporate employee.. He was working from our room when this happened, it was yesterday's noon, when someone claiming to be from Axis Bank called him, explaining few things about his credit card and how it is going to be charged for certain things every month blah blah blah... Then starts suggesting my roommate to do something, before he finishes what he was saying, my roommate himself asks this person to send him a link 😂🙃, the guy wasn't even done laying his trap, but my roommate jumped right into it, though it was an APK link, he went through with it, and has done everything the caller guy said, and lost 25k. My roommate reported this cyber crime.

When he gave me the voice record of what happened, I couldn't help but laugh like crazy, even though I felt a bit bad for him, roommate said to the caller, "Nuvu link Pettu, bro... Yem cheyalo cheppu" himself 😂, it was quite funny when he said that, my roommate is a super annoying guy, he also asks lotta questions despite having knowledge/information... never thought he'd fall for a scammer, he himself said it was an obvious trap, but he said he fell innit because he was in a "different state of mind" because of work 🙂.

Bro ni chusina prathi saari navvu apukoleka pothuna, Link Pettu recording-ey gurthosthundi, even though I feel a bit bad for him 😂🥲. Roommate is worried, but is dealing it calmly, but he's saying that he's not sad because he lost the money but because I'm having a happy face everytime he sees me 🙃.

Why do we feel funny sometimes, during serious situations ? What do you say chat ? Did something similar ever happened in your lives or to people around you ?

Yevaraina Chusara Nolan uncle film ? If so, yela vundhi ? Or how much would you rate it on a scale of 10 ?

I have been waiting for this one for a while, I had thought about booking it on the first day at Prasads, but then a realisation popped into my head, I don't like it when people make too much noise, I'm a big score/OSTs guy... I like music, so, I like to feel it, along with dialogue. so, I had thought the only rational decision would be a week later, and booked it for next friday.

And also, I'd love to know how much you rate it or what you feel about this film.
