Looking to get a Starling account. What can I expect?

I've been weighing up the pros and cons of all these digital card companies. Monzo, Starling, Revolut etc.

I've decided to choose Starling as my personal account because there are no monthly fees plus I've heard Starling is good for travel and budgeting. I travel a lot in London so I guess Starling would be good for that. I also am planning to save up money for the future as well as using Starling for general card usage like paying for groceries and/or just using it as a backup card in case something comes up with my main card (Metro Bank)

To people who have a Starling Bank account, or have used it in the past, what can I expect when using it? What are the pros and cons of using it (I've heard conflicting reviews from users)?

I will provide an update once options are weighed. All I ask is honesty with your comments and stories. Thanks.

P.S. I'm a little bit of a rebel in my family lol. Everyone uses Monzo but I like going another way and possible using Starling.

These "country" posts need to stop. SERIOUSLY.

It was funny the first couple of times but now, it's just dumb. While informative in triggering subjective or selective memories when it comes to the stuff NJPW did back in the day like Hunter Club, Inoki's Island Deathmatch and Bob Sapp winning the IWGP Heavyweight Title among other stuff, IT NEEDS TO STOP.

I swear, I've seen like 10 of these today alone. This place seriously needs a moderation overhaul with people who actually know what they're going instead of just sitting back and letting this idiocy continue.

In the words of Sean O'Haire, who wrestled Tanahashi once in NJPW, "do something more valuable with your time".

Do you think AEW will ever do a show in the (formerly named) Skydome in Toronto?

I almost put the McMahon Stadium in Calgary just for fun but the Skydome seemed like the more viable option.

With all the talk about Injustice 3, here's my take on a somewhat-realistic roster for the third game. (Squares explained in the body text)

Green means their on the base roster
Red means pre-order bonus
Blue means free DLC
Yellow means DLC Pack 1
Pink means DLC Pack 2
Orange means DLC Pack 3
Purple means DLC Pack 4

  • I left out guys like Nightwing (Dick Grayson) and Shazam due to their deaths. Nightwing here is played by Damian Wayne.
  • I put in Larfleeze because there are at least 2 Lanterns in each game. Red (Atrocitus) and Yellow (Sinestro) had their chance so I thought "why not Larfleeze?"
  • I threw in a few fan favourites people have been wanting in the main game like Constantine and Static (though Constantine was in the Mobile port of Injustice 2 but this would be his first time on a console port)
  • Deathstroke is in the Slade outfit from the Teen Titans cartoon because I just like that costume more.
  • There's always at least 1 Flash-centric villain in the game. This time, it is Mirror Master.
  • I threw in some deep cuts like Galatea and The Shade because why not?
  • Dr. Manhattan is the pre-order bonus. Someone pointed out that he would be a good idea if Injustice 3 went with the Doomsday Clock story (thanks to whoever suggested that) although one could argue he should be in the main game already and apologies if you think this is an oversight on my end.
  • Booster Gold is the free DLC. In some video games, there will be a free DLC character that is usually ranked lower than everyone.
  • DLC Pack 1 is the Warner Bros./Cartoon Network Pack. At the last minute, I changed Shaggy to Ben 10 due to Shaggy being linked more to Mortal Kombat than Injustice. Also, the (adult) Powerpuff Girls are here in the TMNT slot where you can pick which one you want but aside from a few slight move changes, they basically fight the same. Samurai Jack I thought would be cool given NRS love to recycle moves from MK so I imagined Jack with some moves from Kenshi. Finally, Space Ghost fits in with the superhero aspect.
  • DLC Pack 2 is the Mortal Kombat Pack. Self-explanatory.
  • DLC Pack 3 has Static, Vigilante, Shining Knight and Steel. 3 are kinda obscure and 1 people really REALLY want in the actual game.
  • DLC Pack 4 is the comedy pack. Control Freak, Condiment King and Kite Man (HELL YEAH!). AEW's Mercedes Mone is here because of the DC and AEW crossover comics (where she chokes out Harley Quinn and teams up with Lex Luthor.... seriously). It was originally gonna be Kenny Omega but he's linked more to Street Fighter, then it was gonna Swerve Strickland, then Will Ospreay, then Toni Storm but I ended up with Mercedes because I think it would be more interesting.

Crucify me in the comments below. I already know this will NOT please everybody but I tried to look at it from the points of view of everyone. The fans, the players, Warner Bros./Discovery and Netherrealm Studios.

How do you feel a conversation between Anton Chigurh and John Kramer would go?

I watched a couple scenes from No Country For Old Men and it got me thinking about the philosophies behind Anton about fate, chance, morality and nihilism, and how they could contrast or connect with John's philosophies on life, choice, people having to save themselves and the effects his traps have on his victims.

This isn't so much about "what if Anton was in a SAW trap?" but more or less how Anton sees John's traps as effective enough to warrant an awakening when all Anton does is give people choice himself, like the coin flip for example... I guess? (and vice versa)

I don't know. Maybe I'm thinking too deep into this.
