Im still in the habit of taking the battery out and putting another one in while it's charging.

But every time I take the battery out the date and time reset themselves to January 2021.

It only takes a couple of minutes to set it again, but I'd rather not have to.

Does everyone else charge the camera via USB, or am I doing something wrong?

Hi.

I recently acquired a z-fc. I take stills almost all the time, but a couple of times I've seen something I wanted to capture on video.

I like carrying around the small lightweight pool package and don't want to carry a microphone or any other accessories, but the audio quality is pretty poor.

It won't be as bad if I can just get rid of the constant hum. Is there a tool or an app that can fix this?

I've done an online search, but every result was an advert, which obviously won't be objective.

Any help appreciated, thank you.

We're in the pub just now having a nasty Thatcher's Gold. It was the only cider on draft. The flavour is a bit bland, it's far too fizzy and there's an aftertaste like saccharine.

I'm sure we've had delicious ciders from pubs here in the city centre, but I can't remember where, or what brands they were.

What ciders should I be buying, and where are the best pubs for it?

Before I bought my z-fc I read lots of reviews, many of which mentioned poor battery life.

Sure enough, on day one I had to change the battery after about 100 shots.

After a few days though, I discovered airplane mode, and now the battery hardly goes down at all.

Maybe this will help others, or maybe you all already know.

I went into a camera shop to try out a Fujifilm x-t30, but I picked up a z-fc and it felt much nicer in my hands than the unfeasibly tiny Fuji.

These days I mostly shoot just jpeg and I was drawn to the Fujifilm film simulations. I keep seeing beautiful classic photos on the net using these straight-out-the-camera jpegs.

Is it possible to achieve something similar with the z-fc, and is it difficult?

For context, it took me about two years shooting with my old Canon gear before I was completely happy with my presets and could stop saving the raw files. I'd rather not spend that time again.

Last summer we had a brilliant three course set lunch in a pub in Norwich. The main course was a delicious steak.

Now we can't remember what it's called.

I think it was about a fifteen minute walk from the bus stop in St Stephens Street.

I spent the whole day pushing my grandfather all the way up Ben Nevis.

Exhausted at the top, I lay and had a rest, and didn't realise until I heard the scream that the brakes on the wheelchair were faulty.

He went downhill really quickly after that.

There was a terrible outbreak of diarrhea at the orphanage, so bad that they called a famous Scottish gastroenterologist to come and stay in the building to treat the kids and monitor their recovery.

He examined every child daily and analysed stool samples from each of them, and soon found himself becoming attached to the orphans and really caring about them.

However, after about two weeks, everyone was back to full health and he was no longer needed.

As he left, he turned tearfully to the manager and said, "I'm going to miss seeing their wee faeces every day."
