This game is making me feel lots of things

It's really something. 30 years on this earth and I don't think a video game has come close to making me feel the things this is making me feel. Only some of the best novels I've read could compare.

I think if you've dealt with a heavy dose of shame and failure, it really just emotionally smacks you in all the right places huh.

Then the horns and strings start playing as you take in the city and wow. It's really heavy, heavy and beautiful.

How are you going to buy GTA VI?

My wifes boyfriend just told me he's buying me GTA VI for Christmas and it damn near brought tears to my eyes.

I looked him right in his damn eyes and said I better hear you pounding the brakes off my wife on November 19th, because you earned it!

How are you buying GTA this November?

I met Strauss Zelnick and he was not what I was expecting

So obviously my first question was "is GTA 6 coming on November 19th, for sure?"

He had a mischievous smirk on his face, he said "come here" and gestured for me to get closer. So I approached. He winked at me and pointed at his pocket. I asked "what's that?", and then before I could even blink Strauss jammed his hand into his pocket and pulled out a fist full of sand, he cocked his arm back like a baseball player and launched the fist full of sand right at my face.

I was immediately blinded, I fell to my knees in pain, the sand really burned my eyes! I said "why!". I could hear Strauss' footsteps approaching, he sounded mad "there's your fucking GTA."

Then he ripped a huge wet fart and fanned it towards me saying "that's a dirty bomb, brother! That should be fucking illegal! Take a whiff of that!"

Then he walked out of the room and I never saw him again.

Do you want to next BL to be open world or have levels like the old games?

Do you think they should go back to the way it was before or make another open world?

Disregard the Twitter user talking about a delay, I did some research

I went back in his twitter history. The guy is a troll, routinely posts GTA 6 AI Slop. He also has posts speculating about GTA release dates which makes it clear that he's a fan and has 0 to do with rockstar.

Am I taking crazy pills or is Hitman WOA one of the best games ever made?

I didn't used to think that either but the more time passes the more I realize that it's truly one of a kind, there's really no other game like it. The freedom of expression, the visual variety the levels offer, the attention to detail, the distinct hitman humor, the absurd amount of replayability and content.

Also it has an element that's kind of hard to quantity. "Soul", the game just had so much damn personality compared to a lot of modern AAA releases, it's overflowing with character. There's a quirk and charm to it that reminds me of a simpler time in gaming.

I ask this because I'm relatively new to this community and I don't know what the consensus on WOA is in 2026. Is this game sort of a masterpiece? or maybe I'm giving it extra credit because it really aligns with my tastes.

It's 12 AM November 19th, the "ready to play" notification pops up but you have to go poop really bad

Do you go to the bathroom or do you just do it in your pants?

I'm playing BL3 with headphones for the first time and just realized..

Wtf the music is amazing. Something about the mixing made it really quiet through my TV. I put on these headphones and god damn, every track is a banger.

The art team deserves a lot of credit, the environments are amazing

The environments are so good. They're all so memorable and have so much atmosphere. And they're all so different from each other! Really gives the game a lot of personality.

Am I crazy for thinking Yotei is just a straight up masterpiece?

Dude the internet reception was mixed, leaning towards positive but mixed, so I went in with moderate expectations.

But man.. The combat, the art style, the exploration, the music, enemy variety, the jaw dropping map. DAMN, it's just firing on all cylinders for me.

Maybe I'll sound a little over zealous but I genuinely cannot think of anything more I'd want out of an open world game.

Sheeeesh what a banger, it really surpassed all my expectations. It excels in every meaningful category I can think of. I have a couple of nitpicks but man they absolutely nailed all the important stuff.

Particularly the art direction. The atmosphere might be some of the best I've experienced in any game ever?

The flow of the gameplay too and the way they manage your down time. There just wasn't a minute that felt like a slog for me, I was fully engaged every second. It's a masterclass in pacing.

A+
