Low smoke smoker

Hey Crew

Yes, I know how the title reads. Stay with me.

I live in a block of units and obviously the body corp wouldn't be stoked if I installed a chimney.

I'm basically just after a smoker that is either completely sealed or leaks very very minimal smoke.

It's not ideal, and not what I want, but I also don't want to live in a world without brisket that's at least slightly smoked.

So crew, I'm after a small (preferably upright) easy to use smoker that doesn't give off much smoke/is well sealed.

Help a brother out 🙏.

TP-Link Archer GXE75 vs TP-Link Archer AXE75

Hey Crew

I'm after a good quality wifi 6e router and have landed on:

TP-Link Archer AXE75

&

TP-Link Archer GXE75

Can someone please highlight the differences between these two routers?? They seem functionally the same.

Also taking recommendations. I WFH, game and stream tv. Both my partner and I are heavier users and we live in a medium sized 2 bedroom apartment. I have several wifi 6e compatible devices and would like to take advantage of 6ghz where possible.

Anyone got the instructions for the deathwing Knights from the standalone set?

What do you like about Brisbane?

I've been living in Brisbane for four years now and in that time have done short stints of a few months in both Sydney & mainly Melbourne.

People talk about how great Brisbane is, and while I don't hate the city... I don't get what the fuss is about?

Some bits that I think really let Brisbane down:

- it's public transport sucks (though the 50c fair introduction was good).

- it's retail and shopping options are honestly quite poor (especially the CBD).

- The CBD is generally kinda crap.

- lack of charm, life or things to do in the inner city suburbs.

- crazy house and rental prices that don't feel at all worth it for the associated lifestyle.

- general lack of events and culture as opposed to other major Aussie cities.

- disgustingly bad peak hour (or any hour) traffic.

- a lack of character or culture

- Honestly don't think much of the options at Howard Smith wharves or Southbank.

- the airport is a mess especially on some weekday mornings (though at least the train, as ridiculously expensive as it is, is there).

- wages don't reflect the cost of living for the area.

- People keep to themselves

- The city requires a car but is poorly set up to handle them.

- super spread out for no apparent benefit or reason

- people say great access to the outdoors but honestly it take you forever to get out of the city or anywhere worthwhile seeing.

- everything is closed by 12:30pm in the afternoon

Some pro's:

- The city looks pretty from Southbank

- Weather (though that's subjective and not sure if I agree, it's way too hot and humid for four months of the year.)

- Close proximity to the Gold Coast & Sunshine Coast

I honestly just don't get the charm of the city and would love to be enlightened about what I'm missing!

Is it too late to ask for a salary increase?

Program Lead - 75k + Salary packaging (81k total value)

I'm 24M working in Australia and currently work for a national nonprofit, in a corporate environment.

I've been with this org approaching 7 years now, and earn roughly $75,000 a year. I have great Salary packaging benefits that probably bring that closer 81 kish.

I manage a team of around 20 people, and have done so for about 3 years now. l typically sign a new contract every year for employment, on June 30.

I received my new contract about 1 week ago but have yet to sign. I will be entitled to a pay rise of 2%.

Honestly already feel like I am underpaid for the responsibilities I have (it's also very difficult to find someone of my demographic and field with even half as much experience as me).

With everything needing to be finalised by June 30, is it much of a stretch to ask now if I could receive a pay rise of 3.5-4% instead?

I would be hoping to get at least 3%.

I'm still somewhat young, and unfamiliar with navigating this. So any advice is helpful.

Sunny's Flaw

Has anyone noticed that Sunny occasionally does lie, aloud?

I most recently noticed it when he's speaking to himself and his clones before he enters the NM desert - while nephis is present.

When one of his clones points out that he does the joke about talking to himself too much and it's getting old, he says:

"Yeah. You are just jealous because, unlike us, you can't pull it off."

This is a factually incorrect statement that he has said aloud, in front of someone else. He can make that joke, he just did. That should contradict his flaw.

Maybe it could be a hint that he hasn't realised that his clones can lie... Though I doubt it.

But oh well, these things will happen!
