The downgrade Is ridicolous.i Remember hating the TV serie when It First came out.and hated even more After the movie.

If they really wanted tò reutilize this universe they could at lesst keep Spirit the protagonist and removing those adorkable side characters.

Not tò mention that Spirit was perfect like that, It didnt Need sequels .its One of those stand alone movie with close verses wich in case they were expanded It would Just ruin the Main story.

Y2v5 Is the most controversial volume in cote history as for now.the main critique regard kushida not being worth It and sakura being innocent.

People also like tò credit koji for everthing that ended up fixing the situation wich the light novel intself disagress whith.

In vol 5 he suported horikita and pointed out sakura as the sacrifice but suzune was the One tò persuase eveyone into choosing sakura and not kushida.

In y2v7 She anticipated haruka revolt and countered by giving her a low damaging job.

In y2v6 She brings kushida back with ibuki and After being trained kushida Is the One tò fix herself the situation After koji convinced haruka via Sakura.

Is been more that 3 years from that volume and kinu keeps proving that It was the right decision volume After volume .

So why do people Stil pretend that It wasnt the objectively right choice tò do in that context?

But before that i wanna explain my way of scaling unlike many Mello fans i use methodology scaling wich Is the type of scaling where you value the process of a feat rather than the result this doesn't mean that narratives are useless but Just that they can't stand alone without getting backed up by feats or proper explanation.

Later suzune confronts her and offers her a bet where She promises her that if She gets a higher score than her then suzu would leave but if She gets a lower One then She Will stop betraying them.

Tò reinforce kushida trust She brings manabu as witness.

​

So kushida chooses math as the subject of the test and suzune accepts.

Then kushida goes tò chabashira and gives the question She had already formulated for her and ryuen.

Indeed kushida had already contacted ryuen and told him about the bet.

The writers tried tò make us buy his love for hurrem as "pure love" like we randomly forgot all the times he cheated on her exiled and humiliated her publicily.

Also they way he treated mahideveran Is ridicolous in the First seasons .gurl tryed tò hard tò be forgiven but Bro Just dgf.

Plus its pretty clear that he enjoys the fight between the sultanas and even likes make them jealous and go mad especially with hurrem.

At First glance It looked like comic relief but by counting the amount of times he does It.

Seems like he enjoys her suffering and frustration wich Is Just sadistic i Hope the writers are aware of how toxic their Canon ships are cuz there Is no way they tought they were writting a good healthy romance .

My doubt especially comes from the episodes were hurrem dies when the whole theme was how he loved her....

Ibrahim×hatice seemed the only sane One until they decided tò go for the nigar storyline that in my opinion completely butcheted nigar kalfa character while i admit that It makes sense for Ibrahim character since his downfall was forshadowed by piri pasha since the First season.

Plus Is incredible how we can blame suliman on every palace plot and fight...

I hate this piece of shit if he wasn't a prideful asshole for MOST of the series many problems would'nt exist.

But there are problems.

The majority of byzantine palaces including the Grand One are gone.

The only well preserved palace Is way too small .

So the only way in wich they could work with It.

Is While filming the interiors in a completely build set while the exterior made with cgi.

If you Remember in the original series only the palace and some streets were filmed in real places during those montages in every episodes where they made you see the rest of the city everthing was made with cgi.

The series could be set before and during mehmed conquest so the ottomans would'nt be gone.

The romance would be way more limited that in the other series and the creators could go full game of thrones.and put more palace plots even if purely invented.

Plus It also depends of the Turkish mentality.

Do Turkish people would enjoy tò see a show about their previous rulers??

After all tecnically speaking the great majority of Turkish people are genetically closer tò greeks and native anatolians(Same as byzantine)than they are tò Turks from central Asia.
