Will genesis be Seamless like X or Divided into zones like the trilogy?

Will genesis be Seamless like X or Divided into zones like the trilogy?

Kind of early discussion point but not many people have talked about the world, I think it being seamless would be the coolest use of the dome but the only game they did that in was X.I wonder if this game is big zones or fully seamless.

Xenoblade genesis Nintendo Summer catalog page

Nothing new but Still hilarious Takahashi called her Eleanor, will she be called Elly by her friends as a nickname. Will the male protag be called Kein(Kei), will a legally distinct Welltall destroy the school lmao.

Xenoblade Genesis Famitsu

Honestly pretty surprised its that low down idk how famitsu votes work maybe its 1 vite per person but yeah that is relatively quite low.Code veronica also being down there is surprising.

Not many people have talked about this but can we get an amen as Towns are finally back no more xenoblade 3 settlements Thank god

I hope they have there own unique culture it seems at a glance they do but I am so glad they are back, I get why they didn’t exist in 3 contextually but it really made issues with the areas not feeling diverse or having there own identity.

Is it fair to say Monolith has found their groove and we aren’t gonna see much jump in terms of raw visual graphics again for some time

Genesis looks good a jump from 3 but also I can’t help shake the feeling that they kind of perfected the style in 3, xde and how this game doesn’t immediately wow me like those games did it kind of just looks like an improved 3.This game is probably gonna be impressive on a more technical level don’t get me wrong thing like the dyson sphere, seamlessness, interiors just in general the more moment to moment gameplay combat world interactivity etc will probably be impressive, but for raw graphics I mean it will look good and maybe this new artstyle direction can make it stand up on its own once we see more but to me it kind of feels like a more skyward sword jump from tp.We are getting more stylisation but in terms of actual visual upgrades its not That huge of a jump other than its cel shaded this could change by launch btw I know the promo switch 2 image looks like a lot better which I added as an example here but Idk I kind of doubt it will be improved drastically beyond cel shading, overall lod and probably blurriness.

Did monolith glaze effect Genesis intial reception?

I think people put Monolith up to too high a standard and expected way more when tbh I think they kind of figured out everything by 3 on how to do good visuals and would rather experiment with Gameplay mechanics, world design and its art direction as well as just the overall presentation of the game which if I was a gambling I would assume will be the main draw of Genesis and what is truly gonna be impressive technically with an assumably seamless open world and mounts already confirmed. When we eventually see more of the game and have like a mech fly from the bottom of the sphere to the top seamlessly it will be magical.

Xenoblade genesis Visual

Its very clear they are going for a cel shading style
in the overworld as well, to me it does look very similar monster hunter stories 3 and while I do think that game looks very good it also isn’t open-world as I assume this game will be and we are getting mixed results. Do you think they might tighten up the visuals cause while I still like the art direction the world doesn’t immediately pop out like the trilogy games do and seems a bit unfinished and blurry?I actually do expect this game to not show up in the september direct as I think its gonna release in a years time similar to what happened with xc2 just cause they haven’t even properly localised it yet so I think they can def improve it by then I just was a bit intially whelmed by its look.

Did they ever discuss what cory balrogs game actually is?

Watched yesterday kfgd and wanted to know if they actually discussed the leak and the premise of the game or did they say they were gonna avoid discussing it like the insomniac stuff.Cause I feel they did skirt over it despite I mean pretty much everyone in gaming news sphere knowing what it is?

I know Moist critical is not a grifter but does anyone else find his “Boycott” Corny?

I am actually fine with people not buying nintendo products, but I watch Moist critical and he watched the star fox direct by skimming through and justified it by not giving them youtube cpm? i am honestly fine with people doing this but the fact he only does to Nintendo and makes as big of a deal about it is so cringe to me, especially when he plays games normally from the other companies. Just watch the trailer and don’t buy the products its so odd idk.

Question: What do people think is the biggest deterrent from starting the series compared to other RPG’s?

It could be anything visuals, sound design, voice acting, combat.I think I just need to better understand the dismissal specifically amongst who like rpgs but wouldn’t touch xenoblade. As I want to write a video on this.
