Upscale South beach hotels that are vegan accommodating with alot of amenities

So me and my husband are newlyweds and he works in South florida (I am currently working on moving my stuff over there) but for right now I am visiting for long periods. We are skipping a proper honeymoon for now and instead we are doing weekend stays in various places across Florida

We want a typical beachfront resort experience with all the bells and whistles without breaking the bank and something walkable to ocean avenue.

I was looking at Loews Miami Beach location as our most cost effective ocean front option with lots of amenities but open to options!

I am vegan and we want to be able to order room service for breakfast some days for the experience so finding a hotel that doesn’t just have avocado toast and potatoes as their breakfast option would be great, if you know you know.

Out of breath after laying down for a few hours?

I drank some hibiscus tea the other day and I didn’t know how acidic it was and it caused a huge flare. One of the most annoying symptoms I have is after laying and sleeping for a few hours I am legitimately struggling to breathe. Heart rate is good and oxygen dips a little to 94-95 but it’s so uncomfortable I’m wondering if this is normal for gerd. When I wake up sometimes I have a lot of plegm and I burp quite a bit. And it resolves after I have been upright for quite sometime. But I was concerned because laying on the left side was more comfortable than the right side for me and usually with gerd it says the opposite.

Really really REALLY high BP post wedding

So I was wedding planning for the past few months and it was really stressful obviously and I also got a freak accident of a hematoma on my kidney which already didn’t help my existing kidney function (I have lupus and I am on dialysis) but because of lifestyle I have maintained considerable kidney function and could go 3-5 days without dialysis. But because of my hematoma and stress, my blood pressure was running extremely high. However as soon as the wedding was over, my blood pressure lowered immediately. L But recently it went up again (few days after the wedding) and I am on so many medicines and I have a very healthy lifestyle so I am confused as to what is going on. I am vegan and I eat mainly raw cruciferous veggies, less than 1500 mg of sodium a day, little to no rice, no high potassium items, sourdough bread in small moderation. I also am only 44 kg for 5’4 and I walk a lot.

I also take a lot of holistic precautions like hibiscus teas, glutathione, thiamine, ect to help my body stay regulated. I try to do a lot of things to regulate my cortisol but I feel like it’s quite elevated still.

I’m currently taking procardia XL 60 mg every 12 hours and 400 mg of Labetalol in between. It’s a lot of medicine and it doesn’t seem to be working. After my hematoma I was prescribed losartan but I had to stop because it would make my potassium go up way too much and I couldn’t really eat anything but super low potassium foods that were bad for my lupus and kidney function like rice and breads and virtually no veggies all day

I also have been getting lots of horrific nightmares and my BP tends to go up when I sleep.

I tried talking to my kidney doctor but they really are no help. It’s super frustrating and I am at a loss of what to do. I know these days I tend to have very high cortisol and I am trying to figure out how to regulate it

Irresponsible decor vendor - advice needed and beware for other brides!

Hi, I am an American bride who got married in Toronto Canada and the decor vendor we hired really dropped the ball and we are trying to seek some reparations but need some advice on how to do so because they told us the whole time we could use credit card but last minute (the day before the wedding) they said it’s not working and we need to do e transfer. So we cannot dispute it with our credit cards.

These are some of the mistakes that they made:

  1. They refused to answer our question about welcome signs for weeks. They finally answered three days before the wedding and said that we would have to pay extra for the design. I ended up having to stay up until 3 am a few days before the wedding designing them because they originally promised they design everything in house for free.
  2. They were not showing any design plans despite us asking repeatedly. They finally messaged THE DAY before the wedding, sending the plans for approval and getting upset that we didn’t reply within a few hours because it’s literally the day before the wedding and we were in appointments and told them we would not be available. The wedding planners told them to make sure all this gets done before we even reach Toronto because they knew we would be busy
  3. On the day of the wedding, they literally brought a stained couch which was the focal of the wedding stage. Their excuse was that it got stained the night before. But they never contacted our wedding planners to let them know so we could arrange other options. Luckily I had a pashmina in my suitcase that we were able to use to cover it up
  4. The welcome signs were so horrifically printed and looked so sloppy and pixelated. It was also printed on a very cheap flimsy board
  5. Our venue provided these beautiful marble welcome tables that are historic for the venue and we discussed a money box and set up for the entrance. They didn’t do that and they had no excuse and they simply said they can do it for the Sunday wedding celebration to make up for it. A few money envelopes got lost due to no one knowing where to put it.
  6. On the Sunday wedding celebration, we paid 500 dollars extra for a custom printed wedding photobooth backdrop. It was also so poorly printed with a huge crease in the middle and heavily pixelated. She printed one image on two panels and stuck it together. It looked so bad
  7. Our wedding stage for pictures was so cramped and had real candles that were too close to where people would be standing which was huge fire hazard and several women had their scarves catch on fire.
  8. The decor looked nothing like our inspiration pictures and was so incredibly sloppy looking.
  9. She made the same mistake again and asked that she was confused about the Sunday event vision when we sent her a whole packet and color palette that was very detailed MONTHS before the wedding. But she chose to ask about the decor on Saturday the day before the wedding

Overall, the decor was so bad so many people were commenting on it and it was so embarrassing. I messaged her asking for a partial refund but she hasn’t replied so I am looking for advice on what to do. I really appreciate any help on this :( I have been planning this wedding for three years and I had such a distinct vision for now I wanted decor because I am a pretty artistic person and hands on and she really ruined it :/

EDIT: Sooooo sorry everyone I could have swear I put the name! The vendors name is mysticeventsdecor!

The before is the September 2025. And this is now. I had the same haircut and layers back then (got it refreshed) but it’s just a bit longer.

I also live in the south so September was still very humid.

I’m very diligent with making sure my hair is balanced with protein and moisture and I can tell exactly what it needs. I also already did a cleanse for any product build up

My current routine: hair mask before hair wash for two hours; if I need moisture it’s bondbar hydration mask. If I need protein I put “hair don’t despair” mask. And if I need something in between; “innersense quinoa mask

Products after: tiny bit innersense natural quiet curl calm

Then innersense hair love prep spray

I also don’t use heat besides mild heat from my shark blow dryer to diffuse

No sun damage either.

This routine has worked great for years so I’m genuinely confused! I haven’t changed anything. My mother is having the same problem with her curls. So I am thinking it’s a weather thing?

I have gotten an fmt before around 5 years ago and have been great ever since. I was recently hospitalized and contracted ecoli while in the hospital. I had 7 days of azithromycin and it seemed to help. However, past few days I have been getting chills and also loose stool 4-5 times a day so I am worried I got c diff again even though azithromycin is a low offender. The problem is my wedding is literally in one month and I have to travel to Canada for it. I have literally been planning this wedding for three years. It was post poned twice due to other health issues. So I already submitted my stool test two days ago waiting for results. But worst case scenario, how fast can an FMT get approved? My last one was a different circumstance because it was Covid and they shut down the procedure completely and I had to go through many hoops to get the procedure specially approved. I cannot take difficid because I am already antibiotic resistant to that class of medicine usually so I don’t want to risk it. Last go around we skipped the difficid and it worked like a charm.

So basically asking all of you, if your doctor wanted to schedule an fmt - how quickly were you able to get it?
