I went had a score in the 400s earlier this year & i just got approved for a savor

i spent my 20s messing up my credit. This year i started going hard paying off debt & i've paid 20k off . 90% of my collections (1 left) , all my credit cards paid down to 0. Score still sucks and i still have student loans , but im almost there. I'll be debt free by next year. It feels good to finally get approved for a card that isn't crap. I just called to cancel my HUE credit card after i got approved for savor. i plan on cancelling my other crappy low limit cards this year once i start getting CLI on the cards i have. I'm just excited im starting to see my hard work pay off. Anyone who's thinking about giving up, DONT! keep going!! i can finally see the light!!

arrested with no conviction? can i still be a nurse ??

long story short last year i got arrested for a DV charge after a FWB called the cops on me when i was passed out on their couch after i drank too much the same day i tried to break it off with them . Woke up in jail. Got released, no charges were pressed.

my fwb tried to tell me they blacked out and don't remember calling the cops and that they were just there when they got out the bathroom but that was BS cause the police report said they called cause they feared for their life. which is crazyyyy cause i've never put my hands anyone or got arrested before & the whole thing was traumatizing.

i just wanna know if i ruined my chances of becoming a nurse over something i didn't even do??

this whole situation is confusing and it's been over a year and im still traumatized over it. i was in jail for 4 days & i missed work and was working as a med tech and almost lost my job. i got put on administrative leave and quit after i got out cause i was embarrassed over the whole thing and didn't wanna come back to a workplace full of rumors after i literally just reported my boss for abuse the week prior to this happening.

will NFCU let me reopen my accounts after i pay them back?

I was stupid when i was younger & i got a motorcycle loan for an ex that never paid. Then i got a credit card when i was in the army as a pfc & they approved me for like 9.6k and i maxed it out going through my divorce.

the bike loan was over 10 years ago, the credit card i got was 8 years ago. I've matured since then. i went from saying i'd never pay that stupid bike off to, how can i rebuild this relationship to nfcu? I already started on the credit card. it was maxed out + interest and i owed almost 11k , i brought it down to 9.2k. The bike i owe $14672. I gave up my apartment so i can tackle this debt. I've already paid 20k of debt this year (all my open cards, collections, ect) Now i want to pay off navy federal in full so i can possibly rebuild my relationship with them .

tldr;

is it immediate to regain membership after i pay everything off or do i have to apply again? Will they even allow me to open a credit/bank account ever again?

would i benefit from a transplant ?

i'm 33. i didn't realize how bad my hair was getting until recently. I've been using minoxidil off and on for 2 years now. I just got another script filled for oral minoxidil i'm waiting to pick up. I take vitamins daily (well try to i forget sometimes) , i do stress a lot, so i worry if i get a transplant will my new hair fall out if i get too stressed ? i'm just going over my options.

would you leave a place you like to make more money?

so basically i have no problems with my current company currently. I did in the past & even gave them my 2 week notice & they reached out to me, fixed all my issues and basically convinced me to stay and everything has been great since. However, i could possibly make more somewhere else. i've only been here 3 months but considering leaving at the end of the year after i reach 6-7 months.

would that be stupid? the money isn't horrible i just got offered a better deal somewhere else and have been thinking about my options lately.

how accurate the credit simulators ?

i've been working hard on my credit the last few months. started around 430, hrs 565, it says it could be 699 in 6 months and idk i've never had a score that high, so i'm reluctant to believe it. I have 2 collections left. one i have a payment plan for (NFCU cc & NFCU secured loan that went into collections 10 years ago) i plan i pay both off in full cause i wanna do business with NFCU again and i know they wont allow me unless paid in full. i also have 18k in student loans other than that i have a 0% utilization finally and no other debt.

what else can i do to raise my score ?

i've raised it about 90 points since May. I had 4 derogatory terms and paid them all off. (most settled for less and they just removed them just waiting on one) paid off all my credit cards. i had a period of unemployment earlier this year and fell behind on my payment history suffered but everything is caught up now.

monthly pay as an OTR truck driver

This was the best month i've ever had ever in trucking. i maxed out my clock every week. I literally worked everyday long hours. i was able to pay all my credit cards off & some collections. i'm trying to keep this up for the next couple years and pay off my student loans and maybe pay my way through school and change careers cause i hate this job (but love the pay)

i officially paid off all my credit cards

After years of struggling with them. I do have collections , my question is how do i start paying them? Most are old (3+ years) do i call to try and settle or pay off in full? now sure how to tackle them. I also have like 6k saved up. i know i only needed 1k in my emergency fund but i was too nervous to keep that small amount. I also have student loans that are deferred til 2028 i plan on paying once i pay the collections.

is 5k enough to jumpstart my full time travel ?

i have about 6k saved and make about 3k a month. Would that be enough for me to travel? i currently live in FL . well i came here for work and my new job is being shady and after spending a week in a hostel i kinda starting thinking too much and was considering saying f it and just leave to SEA. I just got back from the bahamas and it changed my life. it made me realize i don't wanna live in the usa much longer. I originally wanted to save 10-20k but now im considering leaving now with just 6k saved up. i do make 3k a month in disability income not related to my job. i was thinking about going to thailand or maybe starting nearby and doing mexico first. i'm just over it. i'm exhausted, im tired yall and need advice cause i don't wanna make plans based on my emotions and right now after taking 2 weeks off im thinking i don't wanna go back.

is 5k enough to travel if i have an income coming in of about 3k a month?

so i have about 5k saved up and i wanted to travel and i make about 3k a month. Wanted to know if that's enough to start. I plan on staijng in hostels. I have only left my country once (a 4 day cruise to the bahamas) and now i want to branch out and actually fly places. i have a passport and i am over it. Ever since i got back for. my cruise i felt depressed. I knew i was already feeling low before i left but those 4 days i spent not doing anything made me feel so much better and i am officially burnt out. i just wanna know if it's possible to live off 3k a month. Thinking of starting in mexico, and then going to colombia, then maybe south east asia like thailand and vietnam and staying maybe a month in each of these countries before dipping. I only plan on staying out for 6 months maybe idk. I was wondering i should save more before doing so like maybe 10k or 20k or if it was possible with just 5.
