Hello everyone!
I tried looking for an answer before posting, but found nothing, so here i am.

I'm about to start my first ever knitting project (up to this poin i went to a knitting course and just practiced different techniques), and i chose the Sophie Shawl ( not the scarf - the shawl). I will be doining it with circular needles, but i am unshure which lenght of it to use.

The pattern calls for 5.5mm (US 8 i think) needles with 60cm cable, i have the cable, but i need to get the needles: i know there's 3 lenght of them (mini - "medium" - long), which one should i get? Does it make a difference in the work, or can i just get what feels more confortable for me to work with?

Hello everyone! I’m writing here cause I couldn’t really find much info online.
I recently found a steal I couldn’t pass for the cd player mentioned in the title. It came thought with no speakers or amplifier.

I’m an absolute newbie here, do I need an amplifier? Or can I just hook it up to speakers and go? I don’t need any sort of professional set up, just want to play some of my cds.
Also - which kind of speakers should I get?

I just placed an order for the X3 and I've been looking at firmwares to try and understand if it makes sense for me to flash one or stick with stock.

I have a few questions that i didn't happen to find the answers to so far:

• Do any of the firmware available support pdfs? I find myself reading in this format (articles, note etc.) and would much prefer being able to tranfer them directly rather then convert everytime.
• Is there one specific firmware (aside from the stock one) that uses the NFC feature on the x3 better then another?

I just got into commonplacing, and i am starting to find my own "method" of researching and keeping tracks of ideas, concept and sources to later turn in an entry, and i'm curious to understand how others do it.

Say you are out, at work, on a walk or whatever, and you find something you wanto to write an entry about, or something you decide it's worth researching.. how do you keep track of it?

I downloaded Obsidian to test it, and in theory it feels like a good place to start and store resourches of the topics i want to research but i'm interested in hearing of more methods!
