Hey there, I’m interested on the cultural geography of Mexican-Americans and wanted to get some insight. I’m half Mexican myself, and my family is from Nuevo Leon. However, I haven’t met many people from Nuevo Leon outside my family/relatives. But that could be because I’ve lived in the midwest where it’s mostly Mexicans from Zacatecas/Michoacán/Jalisco.
What’s your guys’ intake?
Unemployed for 3 months, going on 4 in a week. Rejection email after rejection email 🥲
So i’m from the US and my mom’s side is from Mexico. I’ve started thinking about getting dual citizenship, particularly with Mexico via descent. Mostly just to have options with buying property or job opportunities, although I’ve heard Mexican salaries aren’t that good. Do you guys think it would be worth it?
This Mexican-American loves Colombia 🇨🇴 :) also because my boyfriend is from there!
As an American, I’m trying to learn more about latin america and the various cultures and history of the region. Is there one country in Latin America that seems to be well known for exporting its culture and entertainment? In essence, has a lot of soft power around the region and the world?
In my experience, Mexico tends to be a big exporter of culture and Spanish films, but i’m not sure if that’s just because I’m in the US and we’re practically neighbors.
