I somehow managed to track down the exact model of Lucky Charm that Louis Fyne checks right before singing "People Like Us" in True Stories.

To be clear, this isn't the screen-used prop. It's the same commercially available Lucky Charm ornament that was used in the film. From everything I could find, they're also pretty rare these days, so I was excited to finally track one down.

It's such a tiny detail that most people probably never notice, but for some reason it always stood out to me. I eventually figured out exactly what it was and managed to find one.

I know it's an incredibly obscure piece of True Stories memorabilia, but I figured a few people here might appreciate it.

Finally made a dream custom I’ve had in my head for ages: a TMNT android/Krang body concept, but reimagined as a turtle instead of the usual android shell.

Built using a 1990 movie Playmates Trench coat turtle figure as the base, with a lot of cutting, sculpting, and paint. Been wanting to see this exist since I was a kid.

Made my first custom using a 1990 movie Leo.

Kinda went with a “what if Leo turned into Casey” idea and tried to keep that old Playmates Casey Jones look. Not too clean, a bit rough.

Definitely not perfect but I’m happy with it for a first try!
