Bought a bone stock and old brushed 2wd slash for $50 a month ago. This is what it looks like now, it wants to fly with a body but it has a 68 mph (according to Dynamite GPS speed meter) top speed on 4S on smooth asphalt with no body (yes I know the motor isn’t rated for 4s). Next additions will be all metal transmission and axles, and a set of dirt drag rear tires to swap sometimes depending on what I’m doing. Probably should also get some shorter shocks so I can lose the rubber bands. Anyone have suggestions for a body that doesn’t lift the car, or for anything else to squeeze more top end out of it?

I bought my first RC 4 months ago. How many cars will I have after a year??? My most recent purchase was a $50 2wd slash used, that I put a hobby wing quick run kit in. I love it so far. What upgrades should I make to it for hard bashing, occasionally trips to skate park etc ? Please share y’all’s collections as well!

Drag servo for super hot and had that worrisome “electrical” smell, now no longer moves at all. Clearly I smoked the servo. Question is, should I get another stock one or is there a better alternative any of you guys are running? Is it the same servo that’s on my venture 18 flux that’s used for 2 speed shifting. Thanks for any input, and it is the truck pictures that’s in question.

What mods do yall recommend for the SCX10.3 Coyote and the HPI venture 18 CC? Both are stock currently and both will be in crawler comps. Arrma Senton is stock but I think it’s great as is so not planning to mod it yet until stuff starts breaking. My HPI venture flux hilux has 59mm injora shocks, metal high clearance links, meus solid brass wheels and brass brake rotor weights and injora metal drive shaft up front, rear hasn’t broke yet so hasn’t been installed. Just ran it in a class 2 comp, rig did great, I need to do better tho! Ignore the wpl c-24, it’s a pos but it was my first rc

Rust stickers didn’t come in looking how I imagined but put them on anyway. What recommendations do yall have for mods on the brand new CC?

Just picked up the CC, still totally stock. Amazon 1/18 trailer w Amazon ball hitch mounted to sr5 bumper. SR5 body is trimmed, hpi high clearance metal links, 64 mm Gecko tires, brass meus wheels and meus brass brake rotor weights, 59 mm injora shocks w hpi aluminum shock towers (front mounted on wrong sides to achieve my desired shock angle) metal front drive shaft, rear plastic hasn’t broke yet so not replaced yet lol. Just ran it in class 2 comp and did well, I need to get better at driving it. The fake rust stickers didn’t come in looking the way I want but still trying them for now. What y’all think? Also tell me what mods I should do on the CC

I have a scx10.3 coyote. Want to swap to a 2 door wrangler body since I have a real 2 door wrangler. This is the closest I can find and it’s for 10.2. One review said it fit the 10.3. I think the coyote has a slightly different wheelbase and body set up than regular 10.3 though. Has any one tried this exact swap or have experience with any body swaps on a coyote from a different version of scx10 body. I’m sure I’ll have to make modifications but not sure if it’s even possible. Thanks in advance.
