nice to things i could do for my husband while im away for a few weeks!

hello everyone!
i will be going on away to spend time with my family for 2-3 weeks, and would like to prep/plan to do some nice things for my husband before i leave to make his life a little bit easier! he practically works 12 hours a day, so he doesn’t usually have as much time to do things around the house.

i usually always thoroughly clean and will cook some meals for him before i head out for a trip. i’m thinking i might try out a meal delivery service.

does anyone else have any nice things i could do for him, or things i could get him to help him out? he works so hard for the both of us, and i know he will miss me loads, so i just want to make his life a bit easier while im gone!!

thank you :)

how to deal with homesickness after marriage

it’s been over a year now since i’ve been married, allhamdullilah he’s wonderful, but i can never ever seem to shake the homesickness off.
i moved across the country after i got married, and even though i see my family every 3 ish months, i always feel an underlying yearning to be home. or i feel guilt of not being around for my sisters and parents.

does anyone have any advice on how to manage this?
it used to be really bad in the begging and now it maybe hits me once a month, but just want to see how other people navigate this.

Farmers Market recommends for this weekend!

alohaaa, love buying and supporting locally, what would you say are farmers markets or a similar vibe happening this weekend in maui!
I do have an activity booked saturday and sunday morning, and the the basics like Upcountry Farmers Market wraps up at 12 PM, which will be cutting it too short for our timeline.

Any recommendations help, super excited, thank you!

eid tradition ideas for new couple!

growing up, my family has always gone all out for eid allhamdullilah and they always made it such a special experience for us growing up in the states.

now it’s my first year doing eid with my in-laws and they have never been huge into celebrating eid like my family and community does.

i got myself excited by getting mehendi done, picking a nice outfit out, doing an eid gift for my husband. but it feels a bit disbalanced seeing how differently they celebrate eid. not in a bad way, just different and not as eventful as mine has always been.

so i’m thinking for days 2 and 3 to maybe start some of our own traditions to keep it special.

please let me know if anyone has any traditions or things they do!

photographer recommendations needed

going to maui in mid/late june and im looking for local photographers who are more candid and film style!
my budget would ideally be around $300 but i know that may be low-balling it for hawaii, but interested if anyone knows anyone local!
