Devonta Smith: he’s just so tuff and I love the way he plays and balls out with a tiny frame
Alshon Jeffery: that boy nice.
Randall Cobb: East TN legend, I’m a packers fan, and we didn’t really give him a good offer so I can’t hate him as much
Nick Chubb: thought I could never like a UGA player but I absolutely love the way Chubb carries himself. Quiet and stoic, about his business, respectful.
Ricky pearsall: absolutely hated him in college thinking he was an insufferable douchebag, but the way he handled intense adversity after being shot with courage and kindness gained a ton of respect from me. And his catch is absolutely filthy, one of the best ever.
I’m sure there are more and if there are I’ll add em in the comments. What are yours?
Just found out he’s managing a UAE 2nd division side that Jadon Sancho is linked with haha
This might be a stupid question to ask, but I am an American fan who started watching Swansea in 14/15 and Shelvey was my favorite player that season, mostly because of the way he would just crack it from 30+ twice a game.
But I heard recently that Swansea fans have an issue with him, maybe because his exit was weird or disrespectful to the club? Or something he said?
It’s hard to have your finger on the pulse when you’re American, there’s so many little things I don’t hear or dynamics I don’t fully understand.
If it’s true, I’m sad to hear it because he was one of my favorite Swans to watch (to be fair it was nostalgia too cuz I was 12).

A lot of people hate this but I kind of love the occasional change in tone of a series that is centered around levity and comedy. The things that made me think of this are the Yin/Yang episodes in Psych and certain episodes like Seashell Seahorse Party or Brenda Q in Family Guy.
Can yall think of any examples that match this?
Hi guys,
I may have been infected, though I am showing no symptoms, but my doctor thought it would be best to go through with preventative measures anyway. I saw the best way to do treat clothes is to wash and dry on high heat, but I have a really hard time finding clothes that fit, and I am afraid of shrinking if I do this. Can I just leave recently worn clothes in a bag for 7 days and then wash normally? And I will wash bedding and towels and all that on high heat anyway.
Thanks!
Hi ATLiens,
I am a student at the University of Tennessee and just bought tickets to come down and see our game against Georgia Tech on September 12. For other campuses, it’s clearer what gamedays will be like, and how to find what’s going on. But for ATL, I’m unsure. Are there any fun things to do on gamedays, or places where fans hang out that we should check out?
Thanks!
I mean like, if you’ve got stage 4 cancer, do yall think it’s right to have kids? Of course, it is completely up to the discretion of the individuals. I just think it posits an interesting debate: is it right to have kids when you know you probably won’t be in their life? But to continue your bloodline and be a positive memory?
If anyone would like to know what’s gonna happen this year, I’ve got the script
Everyone telling me to flair up but I can’t??? Unless I’m very dumb
This is a tough one but I’ll try.
(No particular order in tiers)
S tier: Alabama, Texas, Oklahoma
A tier: Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Auburn
B tier: Ole Miss, Texas A&M
C tier: Arkansas, Vandy (absolute powerhouse from 1890s to 1920s and a joke ever since), Mizzou
D tier: Mississippi State, South Carolina, Kentucky
Any yall disagree with?
Edit: yall have given me plenty of suggestions. I think the biggest ones I’d do in a redo would be moving Arkansas up to B, Texas down to A, and bama up to S+
Disregarding your own, what is your favorite stadium? Could be one you’ve been to, or just one you’ve seen that looks great.
Imo, Ben hill griffin is the best stadium I’ve been to, even though I was treated kinda awfully when I was there. It was a beautiful place.
For those I haven’t been to, autzen and tiger stadium look incredible. Jordan-hare is up there too. I’ve been to tiger stadium for a college tour, but never for a game.
What do yall think?
What parts of the season are you most nervous for? What parts are you most pumped for?
I think ours is pretty clear.
Nervous:
- (most likely) true freshman QB
- DC that notoriously takes years to implement
- no DL
Hyped:
- wide receivers
- linebackers
- Derek Owings and the Bad Boys
This is such a silly post and it breaks my heart because this is my last semester in college and undoubtedly the last time I’ll be able to afford to go to games. This year, I think we will see some very exciting flashes. Hard-hitting linebacker play, great defensive back play, tough runs and spectacular catches.
However, running out a true freshman qb and a DC whose scheme notoriously takes years to implement will have us taking our lumps this season I’m almost certain. I’ve got us around the 8-4 to 9-3 range, which all things considered, I would believe to be a success.
But, barring any catastrophic losses or transfers, 2027 and 2028??? We could be legitimate. Like actually legitimate. Faizon with a few years under Heupel and our offense, DGG coming in, Knowles with a year or two to instill his defense, Keys, Staley, Jackson in our receiving corps.
Anything could happen between now and then. Everyone could transfer next year. But if we are able to retain and grow, and have a promising season this year… it could be scary in 27/28.
So many more I couldn’t put (initially had 6 Beatles albums but decided to switch up for a more all-encompassing mix)
Edit: HOW did I forget Tyler Childers. Just pretend purgatory or red barn radio is up there
Idk how much of it is trolling OSU fans vs if we have a shot. Does anyone have any insider info? I know we are making a late push and his dad said “anything is a possibility”.
Genuine question coming from a fan outside the program.
What happened last year is nothing short of a miracle. I have never, ever seen a program turn around like that. And every single week, I thought “it’s gonna catch up to them when they play a tough team”. And every single week, I was proven wrong. That was an outrageously good football team, with no five stars and fairly low on the talent index.
My question is, can Cignetti do it again? Or did y’all lose too many players of quality to be elite again this year? I can’t wait to see if it’s lightning in a bottle or Cignetti has turned the losing-est P4 program in history into a modern powerhouse.
What do yall think about this upcoming season?
Who are your 3 least favorite non-conference schools?
And we can try to guess who your favorite school is!
Edit: this is so stupid I forgot about flairs. So the guessing game is kinda redundant. But it’s still interesting!
Another edit: mine would be Ohio st, Michigan, and notre dame (Clemson close 4th prolly)
To preface, I’ve been a soccer player and fan all my life. Played competitively for 14 years and coached for 3. I have a decent analytical mindset in terms of when I really try to scheme or am watching for specific things. But my deepest insecurity is that, during matches, I find myself up in my head or ball-watching frequently, so that I miss a lot of formational shifts or crucial off-ball movement that makes players so special. Is it just an attention thing? Do you guys have specific ways of watching matches purposefully, or is my attention span just fried from years of bad social media choices
