Play Art Shin/Cloud Strife
“No matter how dark the path becomes, the Buster Sword always points forward.”
Cloud Strife has always been one of my favorite characters to photograph. There’s something about his silhouette, the massive Buster Sword, and that quiet determination that makes every angle feel cinematic.
For this series, I wanted to keep the focus on the figure while building an atmosphere inspired by the Lifestream—subtle Mako energy, floating particles, and cinematic lighting that adds emotion without overpowering the sculpt.
Every shot was carefully posed, lit, and edited to preserve the incredible details of the Play Arts Shin Cloud while creating an image that feels like a frame pulled from the world of Final Fantasy VII.
