Hey I've been on preply for 22 days and I started on 3$ to gain some students/exposure then gradually increase but I'm wondering how does increasing affect the algorithm? I have 6 reviews/12 student/60 lesson

And been getting a lot of trials past week so I was thinking maybe I should start increasing but I wanna understand how increasing works

Like rn the exposure is great I'm on average rank 23 of my language and receiving a lot of trials will increasing change anything​ with the exposure/visibility or will it only affect how students judge the profile?

(any suggestions/tips is welcomed about increasing prices cause I'm clueless how preply deal with it) ​

Hello I'm a new tutor, I can guess this been discussed here before but if anyone can please point me to the post or a video or anything that can help?

I want to know how to use preply to the best extent when it comes to sharing material/resources / notes etc with students I was planning on creating a drive folder for each one but I feel like Preply already got something not sure how to use it or if learners can easily use it (going back to lesson date where we worked on the whiteboard shared notes etc)
if anyone can point me to a post or a video or share anything that could help I'd appreciate it

والموضوع ما ساعد بس للأغاني ولكن ايضا في غض البصر و سلامة القلب
و علاج الطفش صرت شاهد دروس شرعية و داوم في المسجد

تغيرت حياتي 180 درجة وكانت اول خطوة البعد عن الأغاني بفضل ربنا عز و جل

Today is my 2nd day on Preply and I joined the sub two weeks ago and I've seen how much people complain about the platform... I had to find out on day 2? what a great boost for my profile!

please tell me if there's a fix that I haven't noticed, had a trial and 2min before the trial the student text me (Attached image)

Waited for the meeting to end to report absent but 20m passed after the meeting and still can see that the meeting is active and unable to report absent until the student thinks he's doing a favor he confirmed the lesson then the status changed to confirmed so I didn't even have the option to report him absent and support tells me "since it is done systematically, once a lesson is confirmed, it cannot be reversed"

Any solution that I missed or "should've done differently" or that's the kind of things u complain about?

Hey first time in sub just joined for this question... I got sisyphus quest but no one is progressing dialogue anywheree I tried visiting him again giving 3 nectar to bouldy andd his dialogue is exhausted nyx not giving dialogue anymore

Hades gave 1 dialogue about the matter now nothing sooo idk I'm stuck idk what else to do tbh is that a known glitch or am I missing some prerequisite? ​

Hello I want tutors advice please, I know the beginning of the profile is a great opportunity to use for a boost cause the algorithm works on your side and if I didn't go well the momentum will slow down (correct me if I'm wrong)

Thing is if I lie and say I have 5 years experience and 150+ students (bunch of lies) which I feel like almost all new tutors do even if they 0 it works best

But I really don't want to lie, I had 2 years teaching in tech and I decided to teach language cause I love this more and tbh more profitable on long run and I already completed a bootcamp to get me certified in teaching my native and I got the resources and books and methodology but again, 0 experience issue...

So please be honest, does it sound really bad to hop on the platform without lying about my experience? I would definitely start it with 3$ to gain more exposure and later on increase it but I want your opinion since I haven't used to platform do I have a chance in the competitivness or I would be difficult?

and please if you have any advice or "things I wish I knew when I started" I would appreciate it! thank you

I was very clear since the very moment we met I am not looking for more than friendship yet I kept feeling signs coming from your end...

I tried to remind you and double check on you from time to time, giving a reality check that we are just friends, but you used to get frustrated "why would you say such things" like obviously we are just friends.

I have to confess I never had anyone I trusted with my secrets and insecurities, I never had anyone as close and never bothered making any friends after the incident.

I'm sorry I blocked you... It was the healthiest approach for both of us, it gave me a wake-up call and I realized that opposite gender really can't be close-friends, I was hoping you were finally the one which I can be just friend with but I was oblivious.

But It made me change, made me see that I was wrong to doubt and test the religion's rules and long story short, I became religious and I always make du'a for you, hoping things changed for you too, hoping you could forgive me and that you're happy wherever you are now in life... I will always make du'a for you.

Although things ended badly but in the bigger picture, It was something I needed to mature and become who I am today, I hope it did the same for you. Thank you for everything we had and sorry for the wound I left... It wasn't easy for me either.

(M) I want your opinion, if there's a perfect potential (no need to go into details cause it's not the point of the post) simply a very religious and respectful woman. However, the mom is very controlling and she wants to put her nose in everything as if she is the one marrying, she keeps ordering around and talks rudely while the potential politely looking at the ground and barely says anything even the father is controlled by her...

The idea scares me like I might assume maybe pre-nikah she's like that to protect her daughter I can understand and tolerate it to some extent but the father too is being controlled it worries me, don't want to end up in a miserable marriage caused by the mom.

Did anyone face something similar can give insight? you think after marriage we are free from the controlling or better run-off already before there's any attachment?

The work involves listening to Thai audio recordings, reviewing transcriptions, and making sure everything matches accurately according to detailed project guidelines. Strong Thai and English comprehension is important, along with good attention to detail and consistency.
