What sauce do you always keep on hand?

I really feel like a sauce can bring a dish together. I keep condiments on hand but not many prepared sauces. What do you keep? Also do you have a favorite homemade sauce?

Leftover meat

Is it just me or does leftover meat: chicken breast, steak, pork chops taste nasty when reheated in the microwave. If it’s like stewed or a component in a dish it’s ok but by itself 🤮

What’s your go to easy dinner?

I have chicken potatoes and broccoli. My natural instinct is to over complicate everything. Looking for simple ideas doesn’t have to be these ingredients

Scans look good but…

So my mom has stage 4 metastatic brain melanoma diagnosed 8 months ago. Craniotomy followed by keytruda every 3 weeks. So far her one remaining brain tumor is shrinking and NED elsewhere in her body. However she is feeling worse than ever she does now have a compression fracture in her back zero energy brain fog and pain throughout her whole body debilitating her. It seems to be getting worse when the scans say it’s getting better. Anyone have a similar experience?? Btw I’ve told her cancer team all this info and they’re not much help thank you for any input

The sisters are unbearable after season 5

I love the show it’s comfort food for me but holy crap rewatching charmed as an adult makes me realize just how poorly the characters act and are developed in the late seasons. All phoebe cares about is the newspaper and dates. Piper just becomes a miserable shrew. The only one who is written somewhat well is Paige. They seem to not care about the innocents or magic.

My mom has been on keytruda for about 6 months now and it is controlling the spread of her cancer thank god. However she has almost every side effect. The most aggravating is itchy dry skin. I’ve poured countless bottles of prescription corticosteroid cream on her with no relief. Any recommendations that you have tried that helped?

Salad is boring to me and not filling I’m trying to incorporate more healthy foods and greens into my diet. I also don’t want to have to buy 20 different ingredients to make a salad that I may eat twice and then not use all the other ingredients. Any recommendations on tasty salads that don’t have a laundry list of ingredients?
