I am a beginner and have been practicing Chords for the first quarter of all of my sessions, and I have been wondering if it would be more efficient to set aside a few sessions just learning chords?

I am interested into moving to the south, but I heard they don't take kindly to atheists, and a lot of small towns are super religious to the point of that's all you hear about. Anyone who lives in the rural south, how bad is it? And would you recommend living there? And what states would be better accepting to Atheism than others?
