I’m looking to find someone to do proper PREP BEFORE sealcoating.

In the past, I’ve used both the asphalt cold patch for repairing larger gaps and the liquid that you trowel on (latexite patch) but I haven’t tried the new-tech stuff (plyoclastic).

I’d like to have it done properly before I have it seal coated. Ideally a business that does BOTH. Camillus area..

I used to take my kids on a charter in Sodus Point years ago-would like to do so again but the charter we used is no longer in business.

We caught lake trout, king salmon and browns, at different times of the year. The first mate did all the work, used downriggers (primarily), and helped the kids land the fish when they tired.

Then the catch was cleaned and packaged for us. Well worth the costs with great memories and pictures of kids fighting the fish.

Does anyone have a rec for a decent charter in Sodus (or another location on Lake Ontario)?

I used to attend the races -both thoroughbred and standardbred (harness) as a child and young man and thought nothing of the riding crop and the accidents and stories of their absurd breeding practices and the future of the ‘unmarketable’ horses that had no value.

Looking at the (mostly white, mostly affluent) crowds that attend the high visibility tracks and races (Saratoga, Churchill Downs, and the Breeders Cup) I see it as a garish display of barbarism. Akin to Roman Coliseum events-with the curtains brought out as they dispatch the poor creatures -away from the eyes of the well-heeled and their children.

But the seedier tracks-the ‘downs’ in lesser affluent areas-can these overseers truly adhere to the ‘higher standard’ afforded by the wealthy venues? What about dog tracks? The entirety of it I find repulsive. Gambling on animals-their performance dictating their value-and their longevity-to the mob bosses.

The whole culture reeks of corruption and classism. I have a hard time accepting that the general public chooses NOT to ‘look behind the curtain’.

Animal slavery (exactly what this is-let’s call it by its real name)-surely cannot exist in 100 years, much less in 500 years. So why not ban this cruel and heartless evil enterprise now?

I have crap insurance (Cigna), but this year switched to Cigna HMO from Cigna PPO (I literally could NOT find a dentist w/PPO).

So I had my first cleaning (it was the worst-took her like 6min!). I asked about the paste used in the final polish -she didn’t know if it had fluoride. “Probably” she said!

No floss was used, no water pic (my former dental office did a 4-step approach which included dr exam using the metal scraper, water pic, flossing, then fluoride paste polish. It was the lamest experience…little/no conversation, commentary about teeth condition, etc

I’m talking most incredible and fulfilling thing one could buy from Costco frozen aisle that could be prepared easily…

I’ve heard those Caribbean empanada bites are awesome. I personally love the White Castle burger sliders which I can’t find at my Costco (Central NY)

Prefer an individual, rather than pay the overhead of a business. DeltaSonic is awful, and that à la carte menu is maddening!

Can anyone recommend a person they’ve done business with that really takes the time and does the little things to make a car look like showroom?
