my rankings of the seasons after finishing the show for the first time

Overall, I absolutely loved the show (yeah, yeah, I know I'm only like 10 years behind lol)

The only thing negative that really stood out to me was the abrupt ending of different characters and storylines.

Like Kali, I was very surprised at her reappearance.

Susie, Argyle, pretty much the entire Hawkins police, Dr. Sam, etc.

I also understand why people did not enjoy S5, but I really liked it! Especially Will's arc and Holly's storyline.

Now I need a new TV show to fill my time

One Year In

I didn't realize that my health journey anniversary passed a few days ago.

This morning, I weighed in at my lowest since starting, and I can officially say I've joined the minority of US adults who are a healthy weight.

The past two and a half weeks, I've actually been eating at maintenance because I got a bit burnt out from restricting.

I'm super proud of myself.

Walking is now one of my hobbies. I've recently picked up weight training.

I don't really snack anymore. I have an easier time not giving in to cravings. I am way better with moderation.

I don't get acid reflux or chub-rub anymore. My confidence has skyrocketed. I just feel better.

I still have a bit to go, getting to my goal weight, but I know I'll get there.

Wicker

Out of curiosity, I image searched the wicker changing table that Dookers got for the nursery.

Freaking $180, original price.

I'm not a parent, but for a changing table that seems like it'll end up being hella unsanitary and a pain to keep clean, that's a lot of money.

All Laid Out

Been a lurker in this sub for a bit now, and I'm finally taking the plunge into my own project. But . . . it's a lot. More than I realized. And this is after I had tossed old/expired stuff a few months ago.

I got into makeup in 2016, like a lot of others. My collection, especially my eyeshadow singles, grew a lot in 2019/2020.

As you can tell from my pictures, I like bold and vibrant makeup. But I also like my neutrals.

I also only tend to wear makeup in the following ways:

  • Eyeshadow & Lips
  • Blush & Lips
  • Eyes only
  • Lips only

Anything else feels 'too much' to me.

All this to say, I think I'm going to attempt a project that I'm calling Choose Your Own Adventure, with a focus on my eyeshadows, blushes, and lippies. Each month, I'm going to pick out one of each, and have a set for a vibrant look, and a set for a neutral look, so I have six products I'm focusing on in total. In that time, I'll focus on those six, but I'm allowed to supplement with other makeup. It's Choose Your Own Adventure, because I'll be able to mix and match any way I like.

The easiest way for me to track progress will be weighing my products at the beginning and end of the month.

This feels pretty sustainable and not as overwhelming, so hopefully I'll be able to keep up with this and not be discouraged.

Also I think it goes without saying that I'm putting myself on a no-buy.

Wish me luck!

My First 10 Miles!

I was determined to do my first 10 mile walk today, and crushed 22k steps in just under 3 hours!

Beautiful weather, not too hot, and with a good wind.

One rest break, two bathroom breaks, three bottles of water, four belvita biscuits.

Happy weekend walking everyone!

Connection Issues

Hi all. A few days ago, I realized my account was disconnected(?) and when I tried fixing my profile, the app would give me the response on slide 1.

So I contacted customer service, and they told me to uninstall, then reinstall, seen in slide 2. I was hesitant to do so, because I was afraid I'd lose everything.

Well, I was kind of right. I've lost EVERYTHING I've logged between May 4, which is when I guess the connection problem happened, and now, May 14. All my calories, my streaks, my recorded weights, MY MILESTONES (I hit 40lbs down!), even any recipes I made during that time. Gone.

I'm actually upset about this, because I was doing so good. I responded to the customer service email, stating the above problem, but I guess I just wanted to vent into the void.

We'll see what CS says when they respond (I have a feeling I'll be SOL) but if anyone else has insight, I'd appreciate it.

Finally Found Them!

I'd sporadically pop in to my local five belows to see if they'd have Bob's Burgers stuff, but I could never find anything. This weekend, I finally found some of the mystery toys! Burger Gene and Squishy Bob are joining me at work today!

Longest Walk Yet!

Hit a milestone of being down 40lbs since August! Celebrating with my longest walk outside in the beautiful spring weather, and a Portillo's cake shake. Gotta have that ✨️balance✨️

Happy weekend everyone!

Hey all!

I'm Worthi, 28F, US CST. I've gotten back into role-playing over the past five months or so, and I'm ready to expand my horizons! I am not replacing anyone!

My writing preference is third-person. I like to be detailed, and I can write anywhere from 200 to 600+ words a response, depending on the scenario. As far as the frequency of responses, I can't promise every day, but every other day or multiple times a week should work well for me. I'm aiming for a long-term roleplay. I would also prefer if partners are 21+.

So on to the story:

I have recently revived my love of the Pirates of the Caribbean and The Mummy movies, so I'm really craving an action/adventure/romance roleplay with similar themes. A hesitant-partners-turned-lovers, a brains-and-brawn style duo that need to team up to save the world, type of story.

My character: a lady scholar, perhaps somewhat sheltered, but knows her way around ancient histories, languages, and artifacts.

Your character: a bit of a devilish rogue, who might have a shady past, but has turned things around (for the most part).

While I'm not explicitly looking for added fantasy elements (such as non-human races and magic and the like) I'm not opposed to it either. Also, I want this to be collaborative, I'm open to your ideas!

If any of this interests you, feel free to shoot me a message!
