Sutab taken but nothing happening…

Hello! took my first dose of Sutab about 3 hours ago and nothing is happening.

I failed the MiraLAX prep before (it didn’t clean me out) and I suffer from chronic constipation.

Has anyone been in my shoes and had the Sutab kick in later and everything turn out ok?

I’m suppose to take my second dose at 2am and my procedure has a 8am arrival time. I’m worried I will fail prep again.

Chronic Constipation Help

Hello.

I have always had issues with going to the bathroom. I can remember being a child and going days without going number two and sitting on the toilet pushing so hard trying to go.

Now as an adult I do take some medications that make the constipation worse.

I have an appointment scheduled to see a GI doctor but I saw one before and honestly they weren’t much help.

Has anyone been in a similar situation and if so have you found anything that works?

Years ago I use to take aloe pills and it helped but I haven’t found a brand that works well recently.

I’m worried about the long term effects of this and of course it feels terrible to go several days without going.

The only thing that works currently is the Dr Tobias colon cleanse.

Thank you in advance for any advice!

Has anyone tried a sleep supplement that actually works?

My sleep has been bad since I was a child. Lately it’s extra bad. I can fall asleep for a couple hours and then I’m awake and feel anxious with racing thoughts. I run a business and have 4 small children to raise. I feel sick from not getting enough sleep. I’ve tried Ambient years ago didn’t like it. I was taking Benadryl to try and help me get back to sleep but I’ve heard it can cause dementia so I’m trying to stop that. I’m so tired 😪

I’m also on HRT and will be getting blood work again to see if something has changed and I need to adjust meds.

Thank you to anyone who has suggestions 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Dealing with aging advice

Hello! Has anyone had a hard time seeing themselves age, feeling “old” and was able to change perspective and feel better about it?

I’m about to turn 43 and it hurts to think about my age. I have young kids and I feel not good about aging and it worries me. I wish I could figure out a way to feel better about it. Not feeling attractive and just feeling stressed about aging.

Anyone understand?

Thanks for letting me vent 🙏🏼

Thoughts on a fee only CFP?

Hello. Over the last year or so I started my own business and have saved up close to 200k. I’m early 40s and never thought I would have money in the bank over a couple thousand.

I lay awake at night worrying about so much lately including doing the right thing financially. I get so many different opinions on what to do if I ask someone.

I would love to know the right thing to do to set myself and my family up on the best financial path.

I learned about fee only financial planners but wanted to see if anyone had experience and feed back on this?

Thank you for your time 🙏🏼

What don’t with low 6 figures sitting in bank account?

Hello all.

The last two years I’ve worked really hard at a new career and have saved over 100k. I just have it sitting in a regular savings account.

I know it’s not much money but I was wondering if there would be a smart way to make this money grow?

I personally don’t know anyone who has money and invests. I don’t know who to ask for advice and trust so that also makes it hard.

We are in our early 40s and I’ve never really had money saved before.

If anyone is experienced in finance and has suggestions I would love some direction.

Thanks so much for your time-

Sincerely,

Mom of 4 young kids trying to do her best

Second fat transfer to face

About 9 months ago I had my first fat transfer to face with a mid face lift. It looked really good until about almost 4 months I noticed most of the fat was gone. So about a month ago my surgeon added more fat. He put more in this time and a little more on one side as one side seemed a little flatter than the other. I’m almost a month out from the procedure and I know there is still swelling but the side he added more to is more swollen. Will it even out? I’m assuming it will but I’m so nervous. Anyone have experience?
