When I had a bad sleep, often bad things happen to me

I read the Secret and watched movies about law of attraction.

I believe our life success is determined a lot about energy, vibration and frequency.

I noticed one thing: when I have a bad sleep, the day will often be shitty.

Some bad things would happen to me: I will meet rude people, I would have fines, bad news...

I noticed a clear correlazione between my internal state, my level of energy, mood, positivity with what happen in my life.

I find it another proof that some universal law about energy, frequency and vibration exist...

Am I the only one who had this experience?

My recent experience in Kuala Lumpur (Good and Bad)

I have a online digital marketing company and I lived in SEA for some years.

I lived all my life in Europe but I live in SEA now.

I share my experience here in KL compared to the one I had in other SEA capitals like Bangkok, Saigon, Jakarta, PP etc. for people that work online and are considering to stay short or long term in KL.

THE GOOD

  1. FAST ENTRY: I like how straightforward is the entering process with a european passport.

90 days. Fast automatic entry. No fee.

In Vientiane and Phnom Penh you enter with a fee and I had experiences where officials extorted some change.

In KL airport you don't even need to talk with an immigration official, there are automatic gates.

Very fast and straighforward

You can get a sim with a cheap price.

  1. CONDOS: In KL there are a lot of great condos. Compared to BKK, the rooms in average are bigger.

You can with a mid budget find a room of 50sqm or even bigger.

This a great plus, in BKK many studios or one bedroom are tiny.

In KL the rooms are in average bigger for the same price point.

  1. SOCIAL PEOPLE: I had in several times amazing conversations with strangers at condo or restaurants asking me where I am from, what I do etc.

I found friends here more easily than in BKK, Saigon, Vientiane etc.

Malay are in average more social and extroverted than thai, cambodian, laotian in my opinion.

I have also the feeling that the people here are more "real", genuine and sincere than in BKK.

In BKK most people are nice but you feel that is mostly transactional and there is a wall between you and locals.

Here in KL the experience feels a LOT more real than in BKK.

BKK is amazing but you feel like you are living in a bubble, you are not in Thailand but FantasyThailand, a sort of Disneyland for adults.

In Kuala Lumpur the experience feels more real.

  1. LOCAL FOOD VARIETY: I love also the huge variety of foods. I feel there is more variety than most other sea countries. Is a food paradise.

  2. NO REDLIGHT AREA: I like the fact that there is not a real red light area like in many other sea cities. It attracts less bad people.

  3. FAMILY FRIENDLY: It looks very family friendly. If somebody is muslim, is one of the best cities in the world where lo live.

  4. POLLUTION: while the quality of air is not great, is still better than BKK, Saigon, Jakarta etc. This is a great plus

  5. ENGLISH: the level of profiency of english in KL is superior to most SEA cites.

Also, malay language is way easier to learn than thai and other asian languages.

That makes way easier to communicate and socialize with locals.

THE BAD

  1. STREET NOISE: For some reasons, I hear more noise in KL than in BKK, Saigon or other areas.

Many condos you hear this noise from the street, no matter the floor where you are.

I found some amazing condos but the noise from the street was a nightmare even if they was in the 20 floor!

I solved with night headphones but is a minus.

  1. NO GRAB MOTORBIKE: In Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia and Vietnam you can have a motorbike taxi.

While there are some dangers in using it, is reaaaaly fast and convenient in these high traffic capitals.

Taxi here can take really long time even for short trips in some areas.

  1. RUDE PEOPLE: Unfortunately, there are a lot of rude people, way more than other sea capitals.

People that don't have manners.

That don't know words like Hello, Sorry, Thank you.

I noticed that many people stare too much in the street.

Some people looks very angry and ready to explode.

  1. EMOTIONAL PEOPLE: In my experience with airbnb hosts I noticed that most of them can't take criticism and are very emotional.

Example: I rented a condo that was close to a highway. Super super noisy.

He didn't aknowleged the issue and was super angry when I asked and obtained the refund from Airbnb.

He then attacked me, told Airbnb that I did damage, that I should pay one day.

I had other minor experiences where I noticed that people, compared to buddhist SEA countries, get heated and confrontational very fast here.

  1. SECURITY: I generally felt safe in KL, but...sometimes you see some weirdos in the street that look scary.

One night one of them come and shout angrily at me without any reason.

So while KL is surely safe, you have to be a bit more careful.

  1. If you are used to places like BKK or Saigon with endless choices to pass your free time it can look a bit boring, after a while.

I heard many people online saying that "Kuala Lumpur is boring".

In my opinion, is not.

It can be a lot of fun but you need good local friends.

Kuala Lumpur is a great city if you have the right friends.

It's not good for loners and people with low social skills.

FINAL FEEDBACK

I love this city because it looks more real, raw and diverse than most SEA capitals.

If you are a muslim, it surely one of the best cities in the world in my opinion.

If you are not a muslim but have a family and wants to stay in SEA, is for many things better than BKK.

If you don't have a family, is still a great choice if you want a *real* experience in a city where people are more direct and tell you what they think more than in other SEA capitals...

You can grow more and have a more real, raw experience compared to the expat bubble of BKK.

In Kuala Lumpur can you understand who is local and who is a foreigner?

It's my 2 time here in Kuala Lumpur and I feel like it's the first city where is hard to understand who is a local and who is a foreigner among asian people.

I love the fact that KL is so multicultural and feels so asian compared to other asian capitals.

But every time I feel overwhelmed because is not clear who is "local" and who is "foreigner" here.

Who is malaysian with chinese/indian discent or a chinese born and grow up in China?

I can clearly see who is malay, or malaysian with indian discents but you see also a lot of asians and you always wonder who is a local and who is a foreigner.

Can malaysians recognize a local at first glance?

Will Morocco ever have a Renaissance?

I saw this meme in an italian group and I admit that I felt hurt.

I know the history is more complicated, that Morocco has a rich history and blablabla

But I'm wondering if Morocco will ever have a renaissance in the future or we are doomed to stay behind in science, tecnology, and so on.

What do you think?

How I solved my mental fatigue for my AUDHD

I am very angry because I thought was doomed.

Ritalin never worked for my AUDHD.

Now I know why.

I started studying how dopamine works and basically you need a LOT of protein if you wants your medicine to really work!

I weight 90kg and I should take 135gr to 160gr and 180gr a day to support my AUDHD!

NOBODY of my doctors ever told me that!

I knew that protein was important, but I never studied the amount and was too much to reach this huge amount with food!

So I started to take protein powders and this helped a lot!

Another things that doctors never told me was the essential importance of Omega 3...

Many people with ADHD suggest to take Omega 3 but what really matters is the EPA / DHA ratio.

You need a HIGH EPA supplement to be effective. And you need a good quality one, if the oil is rancid, this will damage you!

When I studied the amonts things started to get better.

I also studied a lot about supplements and found about Magnesium L-Threonate, Magnesium Malate, Tyrosine, Theanine, PQQ and CoQ10.

All this helped a lot and now my ADHD is much better.

I also bought a portable shower and a bucket for cold water.

Protein, Omega 3 and magnesium deficiency was the cause of my burnout and mental tiredness.

Maybe this is useful for you.

How to have a real cold shower in Chiang Mai?

I am a fan of cold showers.

But I noticed that in Thailand water in shower...is rarely cold.

I live in a condo and I am wondering if there are ways to make your shower water more cold.

Can a tecnician help the water more cold? There is any device that I can attach to fresh the water?

I have a bathub and I could try to buy ice but this would be difficult to do daily.

Do you think there is any solution in Chiang Mai?

Why many thai women ask about engagment in the first date?

I dated some thai women and one pattern that I noticed is that after 30 (sometimes even a bit before) they are *VERY* fast in relationship?

EXAMPLE ONE:
I dated this girl. She was 27. In BKK. Worked in a hospital.

She was cute and nice.

We got in a first date. We just had a brief kiss.

And she already started talking like we were engaged.

She invited me to stay her home for one week. To do travel together.

She was already planning like we were engaged!

I was overwhelmed about her talking, she talked like we were meeting for months, and we just had 3 videocalls and one date

EXAMPLE TWO:
Women in her 35. Worked in the bank.

Even in this case, in the first date, she was talking like we were both evaluating if we we will become a couple.

We didn't even kiss.

She even started talking about marriage, kids...

In both cases I got bit scared and retracted, both of them started sending storied about "heartbreak" (????).

I learned that what we think about "love", "heartbrake" is quite different.

I had other similar date and two friends told me is not uncommon in Thailand.

It's this a thing in Thailand to be so fast in dating or I was just unlucky?

In these cases I should talk with them about the need of taking time on know each other or is better to move on?

"Quanto siete belle, wow"
"Gli uomini faranno la fila per voi"
"Che meraviglia"

etc. etc.

A parteciparvi erano sempre vecchi! Sempre vecchi!
