People who play w/ money; do you play with everything unlocked or do you play with the progression mechanic?

I've personally always played with money and the progression mechanic turned on however I feel like it's way harder to build an organic city this way; so I'm wondering what you all do.

Where do I go about getting a new glass / plastic sheet to replace this? Outside panel is broken, inside is OK

I'm Midwest USA. Do I custom order a panel or will Lowes or another store custom cut me one if it's plastic? Never done this before.

First run as Japan in ALL the Paradox games I played

I've played; Darkest Hour, Hearts of Iron 4, Europa Universalis 3+4+5 and Victoria 1+2 and still never did a Japan run in any of those games until a few days ago.

I enjoyed my playthrough although I'm still learning the game and getting used to it.

I usually find it hard to go complete end game as I get bored when I become a powerhouse and that's partly the case here but mostly due to the invasion mechanics and supply ships being so broken and the UK owning lots of little bits and land in and around Oceania that it just makes it a PITA to eyeball my army the whole time.

I basically industrialized Japan obviously, I made New South Wales my protectorate, just got done threatening Qing as Russia was threatening them with war for Joseon so I got Joseon as my subject. I have about 40% of the Philippines island chain region under my rule as well.

I really, really wanted to conquer all of said region but the war mechanics makes it rough. I had fun though. Part of me still wants to continue but ...yeah said issues above is a real turn off.

Edit: If there's any tips to make it more bearable, even with QoL mods I'll take them so I can continue otherwise I'm hopping off this run.

Roomba 105 Mop Barely Making Contact?

In the video you see the wet floor that is because I put decks of cards on the back for the back end to drag more because if I don't do this the pad barely touches the floor even when the pump makes it saturated wet. The only way it makes full contact is if I saturate it myself at the sink.

Sometimes it makes contact but then again it barely uses the pad and leaves 2 streaks.

This unit is 1 week old. I can return it but I got it from Amazon - am I doing something wrong?

It's like the pump is working but it doesn't want to tilt backwards on its own naturally or let the pad sit fully down, the wheels have no gunk in them.

First time playing since day 1; I got some questions after my Cuba run

Ending at 1908 because I got bored lol.

  1. Market trading (not market access); is it best to build until you have a buffer? Say instead of having 500 trading capacity in a area, you have 550, with 50 not being used? If that makes sense?
  2. Is it ever worth switching over an industry to use rail other than to grain some workers back?
  3. Is it worth ever nationalizing / privatizing? If so can you give me some scenarios on when to do it?

I know I could watch some YouTube videos to figure this out but none of them ever get to the point and they drag out waaaay longer than they need to. Thank you in advance.

Edit: It's also so weird playing tall, I rarely play tall and I try to paint the map but it seems like Victoria 3 doesn't reward it very well. In the photo, New Grenada owns most of the north part of South America however I went to war with them early on so I can force investment rights from them and they're 20.5M of my GDP.

What are your must have mods for MW5M?

Curious as I've spent 150 hours in MW5M and now I'm curious at looking mods and want to know what others consider must have mods.

What Coyotes missions are worth keeping and disabling?

Especially with the balance of some missions being drastically different from others; to the people who use this mod - what missions do you generally disable and why?

I haven't used it before until now and some missions kick my ass.
