Just saw his Shukracharya look. Dude went from the cold menace of Dhurandhar to this in what feels like no time. There’s something about his face that just works for literally EVERYTHING. Give him a historical, villain, grey character, comedy, whatever, he somehow fits.

Been seeing the whole “remake or not?” conversation since the announcement. Honestly, I have no clue either.
But two powerhouse actors coming together with a kick-ass director?
That’s enough for me to be excited.
If the film delivers on what this teaser kinda promises, Bollywood might have a banger on its hands! 🙌

Right now Ranbir and Alia are attracting a disproportionate amount of online discourse for all the reasons almost everyone is aware of. Whether you agree with the criticism or not that’s the sentiment online.
When Love & War finally comes up with a drop the conversation won’t just be about the film, it’ll be Ranbir this and Alia that… and Vicky will get dragged into the same narrative despite having nothing to do with why people are discussing the other two.
If that happens, Vicky ends up being part of a conversation that was never really about him. He will end up absorbing collateral damage. Thoughts?

The more I think about it, the more I feel that King is taking a pretty bold shot. Going up against films like Avengers Doomsday, Dune 3 and Jumanji 4 isn’t exactly the easy route especially if the aim is to make noise beyond India.

It’s pretty obvious that SRK is betting that King can be part of that global conversation instead of avoiding it (which he did with Jawan & Pathan, but let’s admit, we kinda know the reality). Do you think that’s confidence, ego battle or is this a bigger risk than the industry is admitting?
