MME H+SQ evo2 worth it for 800€?

Is the MME H+SQ evo 2 shifter worth the price? Its more than double the price of the Simagic DS-8x, which is considered a really good shifter (based on reviews, dont own one). One thing thats really attractive to me is the lifetime warranty so you literally buy once cry once.

The Simagic is already a bit expensive for me but I enjoy shifting very much so Im willing to pay a higher price for a premium shifter. Is the mme maybe just too pricey for what it is or is it actually worth it?

And to those who tried the MME H SQ evo2 and simagic ds 8x, which one feels better and how big is the difference between them?

How to improve (Sommet de munster)?

Hey guys

Like I said in a previous post, I'm trying to beat the sommet du munster wr with the skoda fabia rs. The videos shows my second best run with a 2:39.9xx (pr 2:39.4xx) but it def wasnt my cleanest run. Besides the obvious first hairpin (could have breaked a bit later and obviously turned later to not hit the bump = better exit) where else could I improve?

My "analysis": better first hairpin, I think I did a pretty good job with the 2R after the long straight, the second hairpin looks ar to me too except on the exit I could have stayed on the road, I feel like I loose too much time at the square into 2L (either entry is waaay too slow or Im to fast and cant take the square), rest of the run seems pretty decent to me

What do you <2:25 guys or any better racer think of my run/ analysis. Where can I improve and do I have to take the square into 2L?

Thanks for any help/ tip:)

(I play with HUD turned off so sadly you cant see my inputs/ speed)

Sommet de munster hairpin skip

Hey,

I'm trying to break the wr at the sommet de munster stage and accidentally found this shortcut which completly skips the first hairpin. Video shows the first time I tried that shortcut on purpose (I drove the rest of the stage bad to not break my record by cheating) and Im sure that there are even more seconds to save than it already does.

My question is if most of you know and use this shortcut or maybe some more that I dont know or do you play "fair" by staying on the road.
And is it even possible to be #1 without this shortcut?? Like my best time is 2:39 with the Skoda Fabia RS (sommet de munster) and I feel like Im getting to my limit. I know that I can save some time on the hairpins but def not 18secs (current wr is 2:21.373).

On the other hand it feels like cheating (prob cause it is) and I wouldnt like to be first just cause I "cheat".

So what do you think about shortcuts

Edit: you actually do get a massive penalty for cutting the corner (at least when you do it like I did in the vid) which I didnt notice since I play with HUD turned off

Simple mic quality improvment for beginners

Hey,

I bought the Fi**ne k688 about a year ago and I'm using it with an usb c connection. Back when I got the mic I downloaded voicemeeter banana but after weeks of frustration I didnt wanna deal with that anymore so I deleted it.

Since I got my Steelseries headphones, Im using Steelseries sonar (read bad things about sonar but its easy to use so I stuck with that)

Why Im posting is because my friends dont hear any difference in terms of sound quality between me and my friends when we are on dc. They say I sound like everyone else, even though I'm the only one with a microphone. Everyone else just use their headset mic. Ik the k688 isnt something like a shure mic, but I would still expect a noticible difference to a headset mic.

So are there any simple/ beginner friendly improvements or maybe settings I dont know of which would increase my mic quality. Should I maybe buy an interface to use xlr?

Thanks for reading/ helping:)

Budget 32" monitor advice

Hey,

Im looking for a second monitor and would appreciate some recommendations.
I recently bought the Asrock PG27QRT1B but id like to switch to a 32" to match my 32" main monitor.
My budget is about 150€, max 200€ (on european market).

Idk which panel I should choose. The black from the Asrock VA monitor looks pretty good next to my oled main, but the colors are looking very washed. And Ips panels at that price point probably dont have good blacks, but maybe better looking colors?

I prefer a curved monitor but its not a dealbreaker if its flat.
Refreshrate should be at least 120hz

And very important: since I want to mount it on a arm, it should be vesa compatible (100/75)

What can you guys recommend?

Simsonn Vam Pro setting recommendations for rally

Hey,
Does any rally player use the simsonn vam pros, who has some good settings for them. Wanna try them out, but Ive no idea what settings are good. I play mainly dirt rally 2 and ac rally (rarely f1 25 and ac evo) if thats worth mentioning.

Also heard that simhub is highly recommended. As a casual sim racer, isnt the simsonn software enough?

Any help is appreciated:)

Some questions to ppl with 2-3 monitors.

Hey

I want to buy a second monitor. The main purpose of the second monitor would be discord, yt etc. So nothing a premium monitor is worth for. But Ive got the idea to try some games (mainly sim racing games) with a second screen. Idk how thats gonne work out. But would like to try it out at least.

My question is: is it even possible to match the colors etc of a budget 27" (32" would be too big, even 27 is big but I dont wanna go with 24") 1440p monitor to my gigabyte fo32u2?
If anyone tried a similar thing, is the quality difference too big to enjoy dual screen gaming with such setup?

Ive found the Asrock PG27QRT1B for 127€ (Im from europe) which I really like (curved, va (closer image to an oled because of the black deeper black) 180hz etc)

Any other recommendations for budget 27" 1440p 160+ hz monitors. Should be around 150€. Looking mainly for something which wouldnt look completly terrible next to the oled while gaming.

Thanks for everyone commenting:)

Edit:
So my layout would be like a triple setup with the main monitor in the middle, but without the left one. So just middle and right.

New Simsonn Vam Neo & Vam 2 haptics. Which ones the best?

Hey,
I thought about trying some haptics and just saw that Simsonn is going to release two new haptics. Did anyone already reviewed them? If so whats the best choice?

(And why are they advertised for diff pedals? Like the Vam Pro is for the brake pedal, the Vam 2 for the clutch and Vam Neo for the throttle. They also sell a set of three with each on of the Vams)
