So I work for a US based company in India and in April I was told by my onsite lead that they are making some changes and me n my other teammate are getting promoted. Said that our manager n my client manager have had talks n I'm being selected to replace a Team Lead, who quit her job. We were told that the contract signing is already in the process, but she told us not to disclose this to any one as this was all confidential. Later she sent a video of her manager, confirming the same, that I'm being selected to replace my TL. The exact words are " Company X is selecting Dan to replace Linda to be the next Lead". Again the video is something she wasn't supposed to share with me, but since she knew I deserved it, she did and asked me not to tell anyone.

A few weeks go by and we get an email from our human resources that they are having an internal job interview for the same role I was told that I'm already the selected candidate 😐.. And it's open to everyone to attend. Why would there be an interview if the contracts were already signed by the clients and I'm already the selected person for the job?

So i made the stupid mistake of not checking the left hand side rear view mirror while reversing and ended up totalling it. Like only the motor is there now. I have the following questions

1. Can I claim this fully with 3rd party insurance?

2. Due to ownership transfer, the skoda showroom in my city and other 2 neighbouring cities are closed for over a month. They'll open only in June.

Can I claim insurance in my neighboring state( I only have an active 3rd party insurance now, National Insurance). Or can I claim it within my state, but in a different city?
