Dororo - revisiting this ending. Story sense and writing sense wise why do you think it ends this way? *SPOILER*

Just finished rewatching dororo after a few years and the same lack of farewell still stings. I understand why he had to go his own path and become independent. Story sense wise, why do you guys think he at least didn’t say any last words to Dororo? She’s been there through thick and thin, demon or human. Writing wise, why do you think the writers didn’t include a departure scene?

In the story sense seeing him decide to pick the better path by not killing his father and being able to convey this verbally while giving him the bhudda, he did have the mental awareness and thought process to say something to dororo instead of leaving her waiting like that until she realizes he’s not returning soon. So his state of mind is there even if he has lost his family. Dororo also mentions to the priest he said he’ll be back and the priest does give Dororo an explanation as to why he may not return, so she does have an understanding of WHY he would leave. Once she realizes he’s not coming back she tells herself he’ll be back soon and goes off with her new goal, so again she knows WHY he left and that’s fine to me. I just don’t get why he wouldn’t physically depart with her/see her one last time. No explanation needed, just one last embrace, a nose nuzzle, even just a thank you. I understand in the writing sense they imply they reunite but it still falls short to not have a departure scene.

My next issue is the obvious burning castle and mother, his caretaker, and Tahamoru dying in the fire. Again story sense this is quite lame as they don’t even try to escape. Writing sense it’s supposed to be symbolic, but the symbolism only works for the mother and caretaker. They both get to finish their jobs and that is the last thing they wanted to do. Tahamoru was save-able. They should have saved him if they helped hyakkimaru down the escape path only seconds prior or it should have been written so that it was impossible for them to do it.

Also last writing issue is both the mother and the caretaker after helping Hyakkimaru down they hear Dororo arriving and helping him through the smoke, telling him to be careful. They look at each other and know that he is in good hands. But it just doesn’t follow through because they separate soon after. Why create that moment when it doesn’t carry any weight?

P.S I want to mention that I enjoyed rewatching this. I sound annoyed with these complaints but they do not over shadow or ruin the anime and experience for me.

Who would you pick for each floor from these options?

Darryl and Piper (used) are the only brawlers I had good experience with. I’ll def do a ladder game or two with each brawler before going for the floor but in general I don’t use any of these brawlers actively. Considering that who would you suggest for each floor? I added the maps of each as well.

Sorry for probably wrong flair

Fun anime with good plot that doesn’t need time to build up

Should have some comedy yet backed by good progressing plot and good characters. Should be short.

Something like FMA would be great.
Have not watched any other anime in this type of genre/vibe besides Jjk, dororo, rurori kenshin and eyesheild 21.

Thanks!

Which manga to read?

Looking to read 1-2 books from a manga series for a book club bucket list
It should be fun and/or funny but have a good enough plot and character development for adults to stay interested.
Good art is a plus
These are eliminated as they have been read or watched:
Deathnote, Tokyo ghoul, dororo, eyesheild 21, Jjk, terror in ressonance, id: invaded, FMA, Naruto, yuri on ice, re: zero, solo leveling

I think Haikyu, FMA, Dororo fit the vibe we are looking for
We have not read or watched Haikyu but that’s our only current contender, along with Witch Hat Atelier which might be too serious, lmk if you recommend them anyways

Appreciate any suggestions

Anyone have this issue, 90k coins but not enough power points to upgrade my Jacky??? Check my daily win streak.

Playing everyday for a year and a half and don’t have enough power points to upgrade a brawler, meanwhile I have enough coins to shower with.

Edit: I did open the records and the brawl pass and ranked resources, the ones that are not open are sprays and stickers and bling. Thanks though!

Also pp are ridiculously priced in the shop. $10 for only 1k pp? I work and can def afford that but that’s so dumb.

Insane nausea and Throwing up episodes? Does anyone have this issue and how do you deal with it?

Main Info
I’ve had the worst acid reflux from the age of 12 and at 27 have figured out how to control it. However I have this one issue every few months in which I get the worst headache and nausea. I’m able to push through the day but by evening I’m hanging by a thread and need to put my head down and get to bed, only to start throwing up. I can’t even down water it will just come out, as well as any medicine. The next few days I’ll have bloating and coughing and possibly and the only thing I resort to is plain rice and potatoes until it subsides. If I get ahead of my self and have a cheat food too early and then I’ll have another nausea headache episode.

Question
Does anyone get these episodes? What would really help is knowing what to do when I feel it hit. I often wake up knowing it will be that type of day, and no amount of food control helps prevent it.

The rest I’m kind of rambling, I apologize.

Todays Episode
The last few times this has happened I can’t seem to locate the trigger. Before I always could, like if I wasn’t sticking to my diet for a few days or if I tried to get away with too much of a big cheat food. But these last few times I can’t even figure out what caused it -4 days ago I had pizza that I made sure to take a famotidine beforehand. I didn’t wait the 30 minutes and maybe ate a bit fast. I avoided food the rest of the day and had plain rice for dinner. The next day I woke up coughing (my main gerd symptom) which I haven’t had in a while and strictly ate very plain food all day with no luck in terms of coughing. Next two days were the same with coughing but I am eating so bland, no milk dairy sweets nothing. I even took famotidine here and there (10 mg). Today I woke up with the headache and I just knew it was going to be THAT type of day. Nausea kicked in and I can’t even sip water without gagging. Famotidine never helps on these days and sometimes makes the throwing up worse but around 8pm I took 10 mg and ate two small bites of sweet bread. At 9 I think I would have fell over from the headache and told my mom I’m famished and went to bed, completely elevated (I’m practically sitting) only to gag and throw up the bread I had, which felt quite relieving and was able to knock out (my trick is to sleep through the worst). I just woke up and the symptoms feel much less, I’m back to an itchy throat and slight cough, the headache is mildly there and feels like a lump in my throat tho not nauseas. As I said For the rest of the week the only food I can down is plain rice and I will continue to feel bloated and cough. It usually subsides after a week of this and takes me about another week to be able to eat normally again.

(Extra ranting)
Also just very upset that I have been the healthiest possible and this still happened. I can’t even try and gain weight in fear over eating will lead to this episode. I had been doing so well in slowly adding a few extra bites here and there to my meals and put on 4-5 pounds, but these next two weeks of rice and potatoes will send me back to my original weight. I literally look ill due to being skinny and it’s mostly because of how much I have to restrict my diet in order to prevent my gerd from acting up. I can have cheat foods once in a while with a lot of precaution but I don’t know how I can live the rest of my life like this. What will I do when I have kids and more responsibilities ? I can’t just be having an episode and say I quit and go to bed. How would I even survive pregnancy. I don’t think I can even hold down a proper corporate job with my issues and just stay looking like a skinny skeleton forever.

27F Never worked out in my life - how can I start strength training or whatever you need to preserve muscle mass - bare minimum

I keep hearing about the importance of retaining muscle mass at this age and that is my primary focus. I don’t want to be a body builder and don’t want to tie food to my work out. I’m under 100lb and that’s ideal for my height - I don’t eat unhealthy just basic home cooked things, I could use more calories but I get what I need and am working on eating more on my own. I am not asking about cardio because weight loss is not my focus and there’s plenty of videos for cardio. I walk a lot and am active as in I really don’t sit around and am always doing tasks, although nothing intense.
1.) What do I need to know to start strength training to preserve muscle mass?
2.) What exercises do I start with?
I have dumbbells and can get resistance straps. I don’t have too much space for equipment and can’t go to the gym. I don’t want to do things that require strictly good form like squats because I can’t seem to get it right and hurt my knees multiple times.
I also prefer doing things standing as I have some medical issues related to lying down for too long. 3.)Do I need to do full body work out? My arms are probably the weakest.
I am open to informative beginners friendly video links and references.

Apprehension towards getting IN the shower? What’s wrong with me?? Is this mental health related?

When I looked up related posts they mostly came up in depression and mental health channels. I’m
Not sure if my specific scenario is similar to that others were sharing of having depression and not being able to find motivation to shower.

For me, once I’m in the shower im great, but getting in to begin with is so difficult. I am not a lazy person and do many chores. But it’s not even a tired issue I thought it was for a long time. I also thought it was a cleaning issue, because I HAVE to clean the whole bathroom before showering so I figured I’m just apprehensive about doing the cleaning chore

This week changed both those things. I haven’t had an overwhelming week and I have a sibling over who cleans the bathroom great. So I should be able to easily shower right? Wrong. It’s been even worse actually. In fact, we’ve been having a heat wave and a shower is absolutely necessary and I got my stuff to go and the apprehension kicked in. I decided to clean a bit in hopes it’d trigger an ick but I just really did not want to go in. I then psychopathically stuck each limb one by one in the tub and used a mug of water to wash each part the best I can. I did this crazy process for two days. Today is day 3 and I need to wash my hair. Somehow I victoriously dampened my hair with sink water, applied shampoo, and then flipped my hair over the tub (without letting anything touch) and repeatedly filled the mug with water and washed thoroughly. Soap in my eyes and my clothes drenched and all and I not once thought I should just get in the tub
like a normal person.
I am afraid this is becoming habitual and don’t know what to do. Does anyone else have this issue? What’s causing it?? OCD? I don’t have depression. I don’t THINK I have ocd, I function pretty fine.

Quick help- not an artist. How can I make this plumeria flower look better quickly and easily??

I’m thinking the black outlines are too over powering but I need them to replicate the signature twist that plumeria petals have. It looks like I’m missing something but idk what. I tested out a bit of orange and it didn’t look good as you can see.
Yellow plumerias for reference, the reference drawing I’m using and what I’m going to use them for (flower pop up card)

Who do you think is a necessary brawler(s) to have to do well in legendary?

These are the brawlers I’ve been using at mythic. Recently been trying to get to legendary, which other brawler(s) are sort of “necessary” to get to and play well in legendary?
Brawlers I currently rotate between:

Piper
Colt
Brock
Crow
Griff
Bo
Penny
EMZ
Edgar, Cord, Fang
Willow, Sprout
Bull

Sometimes Amber,Gus, Darryl Pierce and Mina as last resorts.
