Women here, what’s something you wish more guys understood about making genuine friendships?

I’m a 27-year-old introvert, and one thing I’ve realized is that making genuine friendships as an adult is much harder than I expected.
I’ve always found it easier to have deeper conversations than small talk, and I’m curious about this from a woman’s perspective.
What makes you comfortable enough to continue talking to someone you’ve met online? What are the green flags that make you think, “This person seems genuine,” and what are the red flags that make you stop replying?
I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences. I’m hoping to understand different perspectives and maybe learn how to become a better friend in the process.

[27/M] India | Hoping to find a genuine long-term pen pal

Hello!
I’m a 27-year-old introvert from India looking to find a genuine long-term pen pal. While I’m open to meeting different people, I’d especially love to connect with a woman around my age who enjoys thoughtful conversations and getting to know someone over time.
A little about me:
📸 I love photography, especially landscapes and nature.
✈️ Traveling and exploring new places is something I always look forward to.
🎵 I enjoy music, movies, and the occasional late-night rabbit hole on YouTube.
☕ I’m a quiet person at first, but once I feel comfortable, I enjoy conversations about everyday life, travel, goals, random thoughts, and pretty much anything interesting.
I think the best friendships grow naturally. I don’t expect constant messaging—I’d rather have genuine conversations that both people look forward to than feel obligated to reply every hour.
If you’re around 22–30, enjoy meaningful chats, and are looking for a long-term pen pal too, I’d be happy to hear from you. Tell me a little about yourself, your hobbies, or something you’re passionate about—I always enjoy getting to know the person behind the screen.
Looking forward to meeting someone genuine. 😊

27M | India | Looking for a genuine long-term female friend

Hey!
I’m a 27-year-old introvert from India who’s hoping to meet a genuine female friend around my age. I’m not here looking for anything complicated—just someone who enjoys real conversations and wants to build a meaningful friendship over time.

A little about me:
📸 I love photography, especially landscapes and nature.

✈️ I enjoy traveling and exploring new places whenever I get the chance.

🎵 I like listening to music, watching random videos, and having late-night conversations about almost anything.

😅 I’m a bit shy at first, but once I’m comfortable, I’m easy to talk to and enjoy getting to know people.

I believe good friendships are built on honesty, mutual respect, and consistency. It doesn’t matter if we talk every day or every few days what matters is that the conversation feels genuine.

If you’re around 22–30, enjoy meaningful conversations, and are also looking for a long-term friendship, feel free to send me a message. Tell me a little about yourself instead of just saying “hi.” I’d love to get to know you.
Hope to hear from you. 😊

Spiti Valley, Himachal Pradesh — shot on iPhone 14 Pro Max [OC]

I edited this frame to bring out the quiet and slightly dramatic mood of the cold-desert landscape while still trying to keep it natural. It is difficult for a photograph to capture the true scale and silence of this place, but this is one of my favourite frames from the journey.
Would love to know what catches your eye first.

Spiti Valley really does feel like another planet Himachal Pradesh

One of my favourite frames from my journey through Spiti Valley, shot on an iPhone 14 Pro Max.
The silence, empty roads and enormous mountains made this place feel completely different from anywhere else I have visited. I edited the photograph to retain that peaceful cold-desert atmosphere.
For those who have visited Spiti, which place there left the strongest impression on you?
