Volunteering

Hi.
Are there places to do volunteer work as a Ghanaian living in Ghana? For a few hours within the week?
Give me some options.

Thanks.

Medical or spiritual

In late 2024, I believe I had some kind of spiritual awakening that led me to leave an organized religion. Since then I’ve just been going with the flow and not really knowing what to do next.

Some things happened along the way. Good and bad. Like me meeting my now boyfriend, getting kick out of home, sleeping out for a while before my boyfriend and I got a place together. I haven’t been able to land a proper job no matter how hard I tried. Even when I did, the people I’m to work with are terrible.

Overall, I’ve been quite miserable. Can’t earn money, don’t have friends, always isolated, serious stomach issues that just won’t go away and the most recent, and the main reason for this post is the dreams.

I’ve always dreamt in the past and sometimes many things I see manifest as I saw it, other times more symbolically. This helped in my awakening. But now, I dream every time I close my eyes and they make zero sense. I see things and people I know sometimes doing the weirdest things. I’m constantly dreaming too, making me think that perhaps I don’t really sleep at all. And oh, I’m always thinking. Every second of the day. So basically it all feels like I’m always awake. Tortured by thoughts and dreams.

Before the dream part would happen, I wasn’t sleeping.
I went almost a week just staying awake till the next day.

I’m getting worried and wonder if all of this is still “spiritual” or if it’s becoming medical???
And oh… I gave up on getting the job or getting things to work out for me. I “surrendered” in a sense. Is that way? Should I pray? To whom?

Also I tried writing because I love to write (also because I wanted to pursue that since I can’t land a job), but because of the lack of sleep and depression and apathy, I’m not able to write as I would like.

Bolt Food order going on 3 hours!

Uhm, maybe it’s my fault for ordering the food right after it stopped raining. But it had stopped. Completely. The roads don’t flood where I am. But my order (yam fries!!!) is taking almost three hours to get to me.
At this point, I think it will even go beyond that. What do I do with soggy fries?
Has anyone else experienced this?
Where are all the couriers?

¢800 budget for room

Looking to rent a one bedroom with kitchen and washroom in Accra. If you have any, kindly dm.

I want anywhere I can get a straight car to Circle. It shouldn’t be too far from the roadside.

Therapist recommendations

Do you know or have you seen any good therapist you can recommend? And how much is it to see them?

Medication or raw dogging?

Hello.

I want to ask if you prefer being on medication or raw dogging your depression and anxiety.

I have never been on medication and have been doing the latter for 8 years. I dont know if I can do it anymore, it’s destroying my relationships. But I don’t want to be dependent on medication either.

How do you work through yours? What can I do instead of taking pills to numb the voices?

As an air sign, my thinking is already flighty and scattered and not being able to let go off past experiences makes it worse in terms of overthinking. How do you people let go to prevent pile up and scattered energy.

What are some things I need to be wary of as a new driver in Ghana?
Someone duped me the other day and I don’t want to make any more mistakes
