New Mezco collector — how long does Mezco waitlist usually take?

I’m new to collecting Mezco figures and I’m trying to figure out how the waitlist works.

I ordered the Mezco Spider-Man from BigBadToyStore because it was actually in stock there, so that one is already on the way. But for Superman Man of Steel and Doctor Octopus, I had to join the waitlist on the actual Mezco website because they were not available to buy normally.

For people who have used the Mezco waitlist before, how long did it take for you? Is it completely random or do people usually get charged after a certain amount of time?

I’m also trying to find the Mezco Green Goblin, but it looks sold out everywhere. I checked eBay and other sellers, but people are taxing like $200+ or more. Is there any better way to find him for a decent price, or is resale basically the only option now?

I’m new to Mezco collecting, so any advice on waitlists, restocks, or where to find sold-out figures would help.

Where can I find the Mezco One:12 Superman Man of Steel figure?

I’m trying to find the Mezco One:12 Collective Superman - Man of Steel Edition but I can’t find it anywhere for a decent price. The Mezco site only shows join waitlist and I’m not sure how likely it is to actually get one from there.
I recently got the Mezco One:12 Amazing Spider-Man Deluxe Edition from BigBadToyStore so I’m still new to collecting Mezco figures and figuring out the best places to buy them.
Where should I look for the Superman Man of Steel figure and what sites usually have the cheapest or most fair prices for Mezco One:12 figures? Is BBTS usually the best option or should I be checking other stores too?

Best place to buy a brand new PS5 30th Anniversary Edition?

I've been trying to find a brand new U.S. PlayStation 5 Slim Digital 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle, but every official retailer seems to be sold out.

So far I've searched:

  • PlayStation Direct
  • Best Buy
  • Target
  • GameStop
  • Walmart
  • StockX
  • eBay

Right now my main options are:

  • StockX (New & Verified, about $836 after fees)
  • Walmart Marketplace (around $892, sold by a third-party seller with a 3.1 rating)
  • eBay listings

I'm mainly looking for the safest place to buy one that's genuinely brand new, sealed, and complete. If you've bought a 30th Anniversary PS5 recently, where did you get yours, and would you recommend it?

Any other reputable places I should check?

Best place to buy a PS5 30th Anniversary Edition in 2026?

I'm looking to buy a PS5 Slim Digital 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle.

Right now I'm looking at:

  • StockX (~$836 total after fees, New & Verified)
  • Walmart Marketplace (~$892 total from a third-party seller)
  • Amazon listings

For people who bought one recently, where did you get yours? Any trusted sellers or sites you'd recommend? My biggest concerns are authenticity, condition, and buyer protection.

Would you trust StockX for a collector console like this?

About to buy a PS5 30th Anniversary Edition from StockX for $836 — good idea?

I’m about to buy a PS5 Slim Digital 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle from StockX. The total comes out to about $836 after fees and it says New & Verified.
My other option is Walmart, but it’s around $892 total and sold by a third-party marketplace seller (Ozeal Electronics) with a 3.1 seller rating.
For anyone who has bought a console from StockX, especially a 30th Anniversary PS5, how was your experience? Did everything arrive sealed and authentic? Would you trust StockX over a Walmart marketplace seller in this situation?
Just looking for some last-minute opinions before I pull the trigger.

Got into UW Seattle Informatics as a transfer from UW Bothell is Informatics worth it long-term?

Hey everyone
I recently got admitted to UW Seattle Informatics as a transfer from UW Bothell, and I’m supposed to start this fall.

At first I was really excited because UW Seattle Informatics/iSchool seems like a really good opportunity. But now I’ve been overthinking it because of AI and how much it’s changing tech jobs. I keep seeing people say CS and coding jobs are getting harder to break into, and it makes me wonder where Informatics fits into all of this.

I know Informatics isn’t just coding. I’m interested in AI, data, privacy, product, human-centered tech, and how technology affects people and organizations. That’s honestly why the major sounded really interesting to me. But part of me wonders if engineering would be the safer route long-term since it seems more protected and tied to physical systems.

For people in Informatics, alumni, or people working in tech: is UW Informatics still a strong major for the next 5–10 years? Is it actually a good path for getting a stable job, or is it too broad unless you specialize?

I already accepted UW Seattle, but I’m just trying to be honest with myself before fully committing to this path. Any real advice would help.

UW Seattle transfer rescind final grades?

I was admitted as a transfer to UW Seattle for autumn and already accepted the offer. I’m currently finishing my last quarter at another UW campus. One math class might end up lower than I want. I honestly do not know what grade I’ll get yet, but worst-case scenario it will probably be around a 2.0. My other two classes this quarter should be around 4.0/4.0. The math class is not a prerequisite for my admitted major, and I already completed the major prerequisites before applying. For transfer students, has anyone seen UW rescind an offer because of one low final-quarter grade in a non-required class? Would a low passing grade around 2.0 be a serious issue, or is withdrawing/dropping worse? I’m trying to understand what UW actually considers “not maintaining satisfactory scholastic standing” after admission.
