college authorities said it will start from 10th Aug on the day of seat selection but some seniors are saying they always postpone that date, is it true?? i need to book hotel and flight tickets, should i plan keeping 10th aug as college start date or not??

Title, i have to catch a flight at 10:20 PM and the airport if 45km away from pes rr campus. I have seat selection in slot 3 (seat selection starts at 4:15 pm)
i was wondering why did they call 0-5600 this year whereas they only called 0-5000 last years for round 1. I checked the intake for 2026 and it looks like they have slightly increased the seats this year too
Got 76.5% in pcme and 120 in phase 1
i scored 120 in phase 1 and got 76.5 % in PCME
If u all are expecting them to be this punctual then be ready to be disappointed
I think the problem is caused due to public panic and not real shortage
