hey all,
getting around to some assembly on these guys. right now i have: Mortisan Elite spearhead - 20 Mortek - Mortis reapers. to get a functional setup that’s not spearhead, what’s the right loadouts that perform ok.
as for spearhead, it’s my understanding the models are required to be built as shown on the box. is modifying the spearhead a bad decision long term?

looking to get into the AoS tabletop game vs just painting. i’ve been really enjoying OBR painting as a palette cleanser from my BT, however army building is a tad bit confusing for this game. if anyone has any resources beyond just the core rules for how army building works, points vs playing spearhead, i would be greatly appreciative🙏
stoked about how this came out, definitely my best model so far. just waiting on more decal softener and the basing grit i need and he will be ready to 9” deep strike
do we have anything cool to maybe look forward to much later in the edition? or is there no hope this time around
i know we aren’t generally terminator heavy but i just love these guys so much. they will be serving with first captain lysander on the front very soon 🤝
also, does anyone have any words of wisdom for getting the sculpted details done well? getting the overlap points has been tough
just curious on what people’s thoughts are. for the cost it seems like you’re not getting all that much. is it an ok way to start the army or is it bad value

mainly a painter here, but super interested in playing deathwatch on tabletop. what’s the most efficient way to collect the army to build at least 1 of each kill team/terminators. even at the 1000 points level just to start.

mostly a painter here. looking to get back into some tabletop with my boys in black/yellow. i’m running a game at 750 pts with a friend to get back into it and i’d love to play anvil siege force. i’ve never run this detachment(BT main) and wondering what the must haves are. obviously i know the game is not balanced at this point level, but just some essentials would be great as i re learn the game.
i’ve got most things built within the IF/BT area, just need help putting it together.
