Hey r/Brazil — genuine question here, partly out of curiosity and partly because I've been scratching my head over something interesting.
I'm an indie game developer, and I recently released a top-down co-op game demo**.** It's Overcooked , but with firefighting.
For the past 2 day, Brazil is no 1 wishlists by country.
It got me wondering: is there something about Brazilian gaming culture that naturally clicks with this genre? I've heard that Brazilians tend to be very community-oriented gamers, and games like Overcooked have always had strong followings here but I'd love to hear it from actual Brazilians.
I'm not sure if I'm reading too much into the numbers but
Exhibit A - Overcooked (Brazil is top 3 no of players)
Exhibit B - Overcooked 2 ( Brazil is top 3 no of players)
Exhibit C - RV There Yet (as a control, the standard top 3 = US, China and Russia)
The demo is out on Steam now:

Overcooked but firefighting, basically. As new interns of the Super Hazard Intervention Taskforce (SHIT), you and your friends must fight fires & rescue victims with only the tool that your captain gave; a toilet goldfish that shoots water.
FiresOut! was actually our FYP and our first title so lowkey abit nervous here. We designed each level with 1-4 players in mind but let me know your feedbacks. All feedbacks are welcome!
